If you are wanting to keep up your German language skills, read this book and all the other German learner books by Frau Bohn. The author's book is fun to read, imaginative and just the right level of difficulty for many learners. I learned a few new words while reading thanks to the word definitions at the end of each chapter. The main character, Svenja, goes on a journey through Germany to unlock some puzzles from her recently deceased great aunt and meets many interesting people and has some new adventures. You will have a good time following Svenja and practicing your German along the way.

I am finally able to work on my German listening skills, thanks to this audiobook -- the first that's really worked for me. The diction is clear and the speed is not too fast and the content is engaging. I read the Kindle book first, which helped as well. I am so grateful for Angelika Bonn's work!

This is an exciting tale about a girl, her dog and her love of cooking. Once I got into it I couldn't put it down!!!

Angelika Bohn has talent as a writer and as someone who is conscious of how to write a good novela for language acquisition. There are helpful glossaries at the end of every chapter. This book will definitely strengthen your mental representation of the German language.

I have now bought all of Angelika Bonn's German books. They have helped to reinforce my learning.

The book provides a good read for B1 German students. The writing is significantly better than many of the independent press offerings for German students. I would also recommend Angelika’s other books.

Interesting and a real pleasure to read. Never a dull minute. An ending as surprising as I've ever read. It was such a good read that I'm rereading it.

Probably one of my favourite stories by Angelika Bohn, so much fun and gorgeous story altogether! Superb German literature and ideal to learn new vocabulary! I can recommend it to every German student!

I really enjoyed this product. As someone who’s at around B1 level, I found the story fun and relatively easy to follow, and there was also plenty of scope for learning. This is the first book I’ve ever read in German and it has given me a lot of confidence in my German abilities. I cannot recommend it enough. Vielen Dank!

I have read this book, amongst others by Angelika Bohn, and I find them all funny and entertaining.I heartily recommend them to anyone who wants to learn the German language.

Das Buch bringt unbedingt ihre Deutsch voran. Ich hatte viel Spaß beim Lesen. Das Buch war so geschrieben, dass man regelmäßig die Vokabeln wiederholt.Außerdem ist Qualität des Buches super. Es sehr angenehm das Buch im Hände halten. Die Blätter sind Elfenbeinweiß, was ich für Augen gut finde.Als ich Buch bis Ende gelesen habe, habe ich sofort nächste Buch gekauft.

I liked this book but I thought the plot was weaker then the other book from this author, Falsche Adresse. The interesting thing is, even though I found the book a bit less captivating and the level of this book was higher so it's supposed to be more difficult to read, I read it twice faster than the other one. Anyway, still five stars. As always, great language, useful new words to learn, nice exercises for each chapter. Looking forward to reading another book from Angelika Bohn :)
