edit feb 2016: the bags changed, no viewing window but pretty much the same, I swear they fit tighter and maybe a tad more suction before but I could be nuts. But the viewing window is gone. Material feels pretty much the same.These bags were purchased for my bissel vacuum that requires style 7 bags. I was using arm and hammer replacement bags that are high filtration.This bag is different as seen immediately with the viewing window (clear strip of mylar) to see if its filling I suppose. The bag feels a little less high filtration then the arm and hammer do, the arm and hammer seem thicker more padded and flexible.The difference isn't enough to quibble about though. It runs fine, stays on and I see no dust escaping the bag in the compartment. That's really all I need.The vacuum seems to have a tad more suction, thus they're a bit thinner then old bags seems true. Actually more suction is great.A great price for the quantity and the quality seems fine so far, The seams all look tight on the bags (Ive gotten some in past from my local seller that had lose or open seams, left dirt out).As long as I continue not to see dirt in the bag chamber that got lose, Im happy :) Mine shipped by amazon from by "go vacuum".

I have to admit that I had my doubts as to whether these would work or not because they list various models that they work for. I decided to give them a try and I'm glad that I did. I needed one right away as I discovered mine was full and my vacuum was leaving more on the floor then it was picking up. The problem I have with the ones from a retail store is that you can't tell when they are full unless they are leaving evidence of my floor or I push them to check. Pushing on them creates a poof of dust that escapes the thin paper bag. Nasty! These are thicker and they have a window down the front of the bag so I will be able to pop the front off to check. Another problem with the store bags is when I remove them all the overflowing nastiness spills out and gets on my hands, the rest of the vacuum and on the floor, yuk. Another gross thing is carrying them out to the trash at arms length by my fingertips, because I'm not putting that in the kitchen trash, so that nothing else escapes from it. These have a sticker above the opening that you peel and stick over the opening to keep all the nastiness inside and they are much thicker. They seem like they are a bit bigger too which makes them even more cost effective. I was paying around five dollars for three bags and I paid just under nine dollars for 9 bags which makes them an exceptional value. I usually pick up anything that I can see on the floor but I have a dog so the bag is usually filled with dust, things I can't see and of so much hair. At first I thought they were the wrong size because the opening looked much smaller but they have a rubber gasket that fits tight over the opening which is better to keep even more particles from escaping. I would always vacuum before dusting because I knew that dust was escaping. I found it really hard to get the bag on and wrestled with it until I figured out how to do it. After I had tried everything else I found that if you place your hands under the bag you can use your fingertips to press on the cardboard and it goes right on. I live in a tiny apartment so I usually vacuum once or twice per week so they will last me awhile but when I put my last bag on I will be ordering more of them. Thanks amazon.

While I hate to see brick and mortar stores disappear, my vacuum store is always out of these and even recommended buying them online. Much more price efficient, so a great bang for your buck.

I thought maybe these were just overselling but wanted to see for myself - and... they are fantastic! I so hate the dust that blows by the bags and gets all over the vacuum cleaner, and that issue is almost gone with these! Tells me these do trap more fine particles while vacuuming. I will buy these again.
