Excellent little book
Feel in love with this book. Made me cry alot but loved reading it. When I got done reading it my husband decided to read it then my mom read it.

Needed this book after losing my bichon soulmate
I am suffering from unrelenting heartache since losing my incredible love Corey, a rescued bichon. Corey is the most loving, trusting dog I will ever encounter and I have depended on him to provide steadying influences in my life. My life is missing a huge piece since Corey left me. I needed to be reminded of the variety of ways our lived ones communicate with us from the afterlife. This book did that for me. I found this book inspired but had too much repetition, the meaning of colors from one animal to another. That made me lose some interest in the book. I also think this book is incomplete. I am of firm belief that our most beloved pets, if they have found a meaningful life with us, will find a way to return to us in the form of another pet. I have to believe that this author feels this way as well so I would like to see some chapters on this concept to bring the subject full circle.

Uplifting Read During A Dark Time
18 months ago Maude, my 20 year old calico cat with an Attitude passed away in my arms. I've lost both parents, a favorite Aunt and 3 of my 5 brothers. I held Mom's hand when she passed....I feel so guilty admitting the hurt I felt when Maude passed was off the charts compared to the family loss. After 3 months goes by and that hurt never ended I decided to get another cat and rescued Daphne. A completely opposite natured creature, very loving, non-vocal, a true lap cat. I still felt the pain, relived her passing a dozen times a day. Then one night after going to bed I felt what I thought was Daphne jump up on the bed, walk around and then found her spot. First time she got on the bed, I turned the light on and nothing was there! I found her curled up on top of my printer fast asleep. Right then I looked for something to make sense to me and found this book. I'm now at peace KNOWING she's well, no pain, hearing back to normal and not suffering old age aches and pains. Fabulous little book, you definitely won't be disappointed.

A very helpful book.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who is grieving over the loss of a dear pet, or a person for that matter! Wonderfully written and an easy read. I now know that the cold wet nudge on the back of my leg IS my precious chihuahua's nose!

Comforting and informative
Great book breaks down lots of signs and information in general on nature and afterlife. Stories were sweet but did make me cry so close to losing my baby and not experiencing any of that.
