Very easy to add the cable to the FireTv but all attempts to add internal storage have failed. Attempts to add external USB storage have worked. Verified apps that could be moved and verified all updates and equipment versions but still internal storage attempts fail.

You can tell the quality of it is so so. It works as described and the video quality is good but sometimes you need to move it around for better signal

Need extra storage on a firestijc? How about a keyboard, mouse, camera...if it's usb power based this adaptor will help its well built and I haven't had a sunglenpo⁶

It's a great price, but insufficient power for my Fire Stick . . . it just keeps restarting. #Disappointing

I purchased this item for my Fire Stick. It's easy enough to install. A few things you should know: 1) The Fire Stick would not read the first thumb drive I was using for storage. I had to try a few other thumb drives before it was recognized (this caused me much grief, I couldn't figure out why Fire Stick wasn't recognizing the first thumb drive. I installed, reinstalled, etc.. After watching a You Tube video on why it wasn't working, I swapped out thumb drives and no problem, it worked. So be aware of that.) 2) I was hoping I could direct the Fire Stick to download directly to the new, external thumb drive but I couldn't figure out how to do that. What I have to do is download a movie/tv show to the Fire Stick then transfer it to the thumb drive for storage (you'll need to download an app to do this.) If I want to watch that movie later, I have to reimport it to the Fire Stick. I'm not super tech savvy but that's how I have to do it. Perhaps there is a way to download directly to the external hard drive/thumb drive, I just don't know how. Other than that, yes, this item works as advertised.
