And then they drip bug juice all over your newly painted windowsills. Miss Muffet is extremely effective at killing and then REPELLING NEW ONES from moving in. Most of my problem areas are slightly protected from direct rain by overhangs above, so my comments are about that kind of application. I have found that this product is still effective after a year or even more - which is amazing to me. It does not effect paint or siding as far as I can tell. I use some caution when applying it with respect to personal protection. I always wear safety glasses, gloves, long sleeves and a n95 mask to avoid breathing the droplets that can blow back at you from gravity or an unfavorable wind. I did not do that robustly the first time and found that it was irritating. I used this product and it got rid of them all! It has been months since and not one spider in site. I did use a lot of spray initially because I sprayed the parameters of my home plus the outside but it worked very well. I will say that it will take some time for the spray to be effective. It does not have much of a smell to it but with any chemical I recommend wearing a mask.
