Heavy Duty, Trustworthy
When I picked up the package for these Carabiners, I was surprised at the weight. After opening and making a chain out of them I found them to be very hearty. I had a tiny issue when I opened one of the caribiners all the way, the nut got a little stuck and I used a wrench to unstick it. It was easy, but I know I will need to be sure not to open that far. Given that, if I had my preference, I'd have the opening be a little larger. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

solid and well made
These are solid, well made, nicely finished. The threads work smoothly. Just what I hoped for.

Works great but for crabbing use a c-link
I used these for one season of crabbing and didn't have any problems with rust or the threads. The are big enough to deal with any rope. I was a bit worried that constant rocking in the surf might loosen the threads but never found a problem with it. But I also learned that the better device for crabbing is a stainless c-link. SMI sells them as Split C-links #19424 Quick Connect for Crab & Shrimp Ropes but they are much more expensive - more than this whole 10-pack. You just carefully align the two c-links to attach or remove and under tension or resting in a bucket it's almost impossible to randomly work loose. But I managed to find them in bulk at a local fisheries store for pretty cheap.

Very Good Threading
Perform as they should. Very good threading. Spring open and close with no hitches.

Way stronger and chunkier than I needed, but that is okay.

Slightly Magnetic, Very Sturdy
These are very sturdy but have some magnetism to them, so we won't be using them where rain can hit them directly. They're the best value for the money at 10 for $18.88.

Works good
Bought these for pulling engines. Easier to use these than a nut and bolt on the chain. I've done several engines with them and let several coworkers use them for engines and they're holding up great. Plus the pack comes with more than you need so if one does fail you already have extras.
