Easy to install, nice upgrade. 310 to 410
Took my machine from 310# to 410#. Nice upgrade, never thought I'd need to do this at my age (62yo), but the machine is used regularly & obviously doing the job. New ones were noticeably stiffer than the existing 50's, so I used an archery pull test gauge on all of the rods. Existing ones tested at 40#, the 2 new ones tested at 50-52#. Exactly as they should. Current plan is to replace the other 4 big ones, as they've softened over the years with use. Installation was easy, use a short screwdriver & remove a couple screws from the underside of the existing block. Slide the upgrade block onto the end, then use the metal bracket to hold everything in place. Be sure to use the screws which came with the upgrade, they're longer than the original ones & will hold better.

Awesome addition
I ordered these to add aditional weight onto my Pro series Bowflex. They work great, definitely increased the resistance, and are helping with with my goals. The attachment comes connected on the bottom of the rods and slid perfectly into the adaptor on the Bowflex. I know other series adaptors do not match up, so be sure to check and make sure this connector will work. I already added 50 rods to the open holes on the back, so this brings my resistance to 410. The cables are holding up great under the additional strain and I am not seeing anything to suggest that the weight is too much. Definitely worth the money.

Stronger = better, more weight = stronger, so these rods will make your bowflex better.
I like these, I've been enjoying them for a few months at this point and they've helped me both gain strength and trim my waistline down just a bit more. I do have an issue with them and it might be my installation. One weight seems to be less flexible than the other and gives more resistance than the other. It makes for an imbalanced workout: I'm not really sure how to correct this either: so I've been using the pair as bonus weights and I try to use them together where the imbalance isn't something I'll notice like with leg squats with the squad bar. Anway, they are good and very effective. So if you like or even love your bowflex and you find yourself at a plateau then this product is for you. And like I said, I may have installed them wrong or maybe got one that was defective, but regardless, they provide much more weight to the system so it's worth it. These come recommended for anyone that has a bowflex and is able to utilize all their bows that came standard. And thanks Amazon for getting it to me quickly and easily. Good luck and have fun out there and thanks for reading.

Only 1 rod, missing a second one for the upgrade
The power rod only had 1 rod in package instead of 2!

Works great.
Note: If you are thinking about buying these, you need these first: Bowflex 310 lb. Rod Upgrade . Installation of the 410 lb upgrade is a lot eaiser than the 310 lb upgrade as these slip right on the back of your existing rod block and lock in place. The 310 lb upgrade requires you to remove your rod block and pop off the caps and screw them into the rod block from the bottom of the block. Not super hard to do, but does require you to disassemble the rod block from the machine (at least it did on my Extreme 2). Neither the 310 lb nor the 410 lb upgrade came with directions. It is fairly easy to install them, but directions would have been nice. The Extreme 2 installation instructions don't mention anything about installing extra rods either. I have found in working out that I rarely ever go with all the rods. I am no giant, but I am no small guy either. So your call on if you need to buy these. My advice would be to buy the 310 lb upgrade and see if you ever need more. These are really easy to add (compared to the 310 lb upgrade), so see if you are max'ing out at 310 and then buy these if needed.

Way sturdier than original
They seem to be the same material as the one that came with the system (Exceed) but these are way sturdier. The resistance is almost twice! Will be monitoring longevity and how if they loose any resistance with usage. Note: Installing these on the block is not easy, you need a second person to help.
