My cats are smarter they just rip it of but it works great for my friend

I stick it to the bed head, and my cat can not scratch it anymore.

Bought this because my needy orange cat claws at the carpet if I go into a room without her and it’s destroying the carpet at every doorframe in the house. I stuck a strip of this down over the carpet at my bedroom door, moved over to put it in front of my office door, only to hear the gray cat behind me curious about the tape and immediately attacking it and trying to claw it up. So. That was a bust. Though I haven’t seen the orange cat clawing at the carpet there anymore, now it’s just the gray one going for the tape. Sticks real well though.

This tape works well on furniture.But it does not work on carpeting/rugs.It’s sticks just fine to the rug, but I don’t want to walk on sticky tape. If you had a version of this tape that was only sticky on one side, I could put it on my rugs where the cat likes to scratch and pull out the loops and still be able to walk on it.I am now able to walk on it only because I did not pull off the white covering from the top side. It looks ridiculous.So please get to work on a one sided tape that you can use on rugs and carpets.Ps. Packing/shipping tape is not an option because it is too sticky and it damages the rug when you try to remove it. Sigh….

My cat was shredding my door frames (after I sprayed the couch with repellant to stop her from shredding my couch). This tape stopped her from scratching the door frames. I left it on for a few months hoping to break the habit. I just removed it and it came off easily without damaging the paint. The tape does collect hair and lint. I will probably replace it once the new paint has dried and cured.

This needs to come with more warnings about the strength of the adhesive. It is basically two sided tape. The problem I found is it increased in stickiness over time and will cause damage (especially when used on woven coverings like a sofa!) when removed. So use with caution. I would not leave it on any surface for more than a few days and test in an inconspicuous location first. Removing it after about a week actually caused MORE damage to our sofa than the cat did. Interestingly, when initially sticking it on the sofa it was much easier to peel off and reposition so I did not expect it to become nearly permanent (and ultimately pull the fabric apart) when I tried to remove it after a week or so. Even on glass it can become difficult to remove.

It’s basically a very sturdy double sided roll of tape. It has stayed on the door frame and my cat immediately hated the feeling of her little paws sticking to the tape when she tried scratching again. Hasn’t touched it since.

I find this is way too sticky. It damages any fabric it comes into contact with if not removed extremely carefully. I think the stickiness factor needs to be wound back a bit before I could recommend this tape.

Great stuff I got it for my bathroom door as I recently adopted an outdoor cat and she sleeps in there. Easy to apply no bubbles etc and when you remove it comes off easily. It’s worth noting my doors are not solid oak they have some sort of a hardwearing veneer on them.

Der Halt des Klebebandes an Textilien wie Sofa ist wirklich super, sogar über mehrere Wochen. Natürlich sieht man das Klebeband trotzdem, auch wenn es transparent ist. Es ist aber eine gute Übergangslösung oder an nicht sichtbaren Stellen auch eine langfristige.

Je confirme que ça colle bien les chats n’apprécient pas mais à force avec l’usure faut le changer normal
