My child managed to snap one of the catches on the battery cover. Rather than tape it up I bought one of these which holds it in place perfectly, adds some grip and protection from further droppages. Looks good, fits well. Recommended.

Fits perfectly, just slides on over the remote and cushions up to its front, rear and sides leaving all the functions accessible. Very pleased with it and a reasonable price for a very good quality product to protect an LG magic remote ( or restore it if it has casing damage).

Arrived quick and packaged in a plastic wrapper. Feels comfortable in hand with great grip , easy to fit and stays protected. Four stars because there was a little grey spot at the bottom that can’t be removed. Again it’s very small and may not bother most see second photo. Amazon did offer little voucher for the issue. After a day I realised the cut out for infra red is little small that requires you to angle the remote to switch TV on and off.

Great idea and cheaper than buying a new official LG remote control. Looks OK and nice grip. Only dislike is that it fits the remote control ok, but could do with being a little bit more of a tighter fit.

This makes the remote control a lot more comfortable to hold, I have not dropped it once in the last 3+ years after getting it. I dropped the remote a couple of times in the few months before I got it. Some customer have complained that the fit is not great around the edges, but unless you are actually peeling the case away it doesnt come loose. Having a little play is also good because makes it easier to take it off if you need to change batteries or anything. Also I have read that it blocks the sensor at the front, but I didnt have this issue.

The rubber cover fits well but the hole in the end for the inferred signal is too small. It restricted the signal so I had to enlarge it and now it works fine.

I have had LG tv’s with magic wand controllers since they came out. Maybe it’s just me but the battery back broke on every LG remote I had. I couldn’t find anywhere that sold just the battery back. So got sick of buying new remotes. Used elastic bands for a month and then found this. This makes the whole remote stronger and grippier and it’s 5 times cheaper than a new remote. And it holds the battery back in place as if it wasn’t broken. I wish I found this many remote controllers ago.
