Poorly made
Awful item. This is the first time I've had to write a bad review about something. Loose strands sticking out all over, I had to try to cut them off with scissors. The stitching is so uneven, it looks like a kid sewed it together. And the neck is too small, can't even wear it. It will pass for a one night halloween costume but if you're looking for something to last and look good in photos don't bother with this one.

Color great, quality - not so much
Great color but the tie is so thin and flimsy that it looks like a joke! There was a run/snag but there wasn’t time to get a replacement before Halloween so I just kept it.

For Potterheads young & old!
Went with my Ravenclaw house for one of my outfits in Universal! Definitely pulled the outfit together. It’s a thin satin material and clasps with a piece of velcro, so be prepared to not be able to adjust it. I steamed it before I wore it as it was super wrinkly.

Cheap Material – Not Worth the Price
The Harry Potter Costume Necktie was disappointing. The material feels very cheap, and the overall build quality does not match the price point. For what this costs, I expected something more durable and better made. Honestly, this tie seems like it will only hold up for one or two wears at most. If you need something for performance or longevity, you’re better off buying a real tie instead of this costume version. Pros: Looks accurate for a costume Lightweight Cons: Very cheap material Poor build quality Overpriced for what you get Likely only good for 1–2 uses If you’re looking for a quick costume accessory, it works. But for anything beyond that, I’d recommend skipping this and investing in a real tie.

It’s probably fine to wear for a day but if you’re hoping for a true tie feel this isn’t it. The sewing on the knot isn’t symmetrical and you can see the thread. The material is super thin and light and I imagine wont sit well through the day.
