JETech Case for iPad Air 1st Generation (NOT for iPad Air 2), Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep (Navy)

I bought it for a present for my wife. She had a similar cover that she liked, but it had aged and worn. It was a grained leather look version and the material had started to de laminate at the edges and crack.This new one is made of a very smooth material and feels a little slippery at first. My wife tells me that it isn’t slippery now and feels confident that she wouldn’t drop it. It purple in colour as described and it has very clean lines.Hard to estimate its durability, but this one doesn’t look as though it will degrade as her old one did.Registered the warranty online and there was no problem.I also have one of the old grained leather look covers and will probably change to one of these in the future. Mine has degraded the same as my wife’s.

Bought this for my daughter to replace the genuine leather apple case that was looking tatty and had become loose fitting, so the iPad could easy fall out. To be fair the leather apple case had saved the ipad from damage during the two or so years of use, but it has suffered. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the approx £60 apple case and decided to get this.....and I am glad I did. It is a good fitting case, it looks good and the price is good. The one thing I will say that is different to the apple case is there is less protection at the bottom where the speakers are. My daughter says the volume seems slightly louder, but I would say the trade off is that there is a little less scratch protection, be it only minimal.Over all...it is a good product and we are happy with it.

This product was purchased as a replacement for the iPad cover I had used for a long time and was worn out. I am really pleased with my purchase. The colour (blue) is lovely, the case protects my iPad from scratches and scuffs, it is sturdy and durable. I am really pleased to have found this item as my iPad is an older version (iPad Air version 1), and the choice of cover for this model is now limited. So, very happy with my find! Thank you.

The case was delivered timely packaged wellFits the IPad Air 1 perfect sturdy feelBought as a replacement for the same purchased which lasted about 3 years in constant use the reason for low mark on durability is the cover had to be glued back several times round the edges

Sadly, although I liked the look of this when it arrived, I then put it on my iPad and it clicks over the corners - quite tightly. As it clicked over the top right corner it has cracked the screen. There was no crack or anything on the iPad before I put on this cover. So buyer beware!!!!

Good price arrived on time fitted the iPad as did the original.Looks a bit more robust than the original but only time will tell with regards to thatAt this point in time good buy good feel and satisfied with my purchaseHope this helps someone

My mum has an old iPad Air and her old case had become worn and was almost falling apart, bless her! I bought her this case and chose this lovely purple to cheer her up. She's travelling to America this year and will want her iPad on the plane, so she was really pleased with how it props up her iPad and acts as a stand. We've always chosen JTech covers for our iPad at home, and my daughter's iPad Mini as well.

I really like this iPad case. I had this one before, but after 2 years the plastic started to crack and break off, so it no longer held the iPad. However, for this price, I suspect that is unavoidable. It’s light weight and fits perfectly, so that’s why I bought the same one again.
