Looks good and seems sturdy. Easy to use

My husband says this is the best bottle opener tool ever. It's sturdy, it's got a clever design, it's nice looking, works extremely well.

This is easy to use and the wood adds a nice touch. Screws into the cork easliy and the dual step make decorking simple and quick. The foil cutter works well and cuts cleanly. Nice thickness that fits in the palm. This should last a long time.

This corkscrew has the look and feel of a quality product. I'm not a waiter just a wino :-) . But I prefer this style opener, but It seems like everyone is adding hinges to this kind of opener. I don't really understand why. The old style has worked fine for years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I can live with the hinge and that's not why I dropped a star. As one other reviewer mentioned, even though the blade is serrated it does not cut the foil cleanly. It leaves a rough and unprofessional looking edge. This corkscrew replaced one that had a non-serrated blade and that one barely cut the foil at all. so this is a slight improvement over that one. It's ok but I don't think I'd order another one

This corkscrew is strong, sturdy, well made, and relatively easy to use. It far surpasses others of similar design that I've tried, which have bent under usage and resulted in broken corks. They make great gifts as well.

Does what it's supposed to do. Having two levels to pry against is a big plus. Never going back to the butterfly style.

I have so many corkscrew gadgets and they are all worthless. This is wonderful. It looks like a professional wine opener. It's easy to use, you can tell it is sturdy, it feels good in the hand, and the cork comes out without a problem. I would recommend this.

I've had two of these (first one lasted 8 years). Compared to a conventional "waiter's corkscrew" this operates differently. It has a "double hinge" which provides better leverage (i.e. less force) to remove the cork. Use the first hinge (shorter) to pry the cork out about 3/4", and switch to the second (longer one) to remove the full cork. The accompanying video only briefly shows this. So, why does removing a cork in two stages matter? Because it requires less force than removing a cork with a conventional corkscrew. If you're 65+ or have small hands - and have struggled and cursed to pry a tight-fitting cork from a bottle - this is for you. - well-crafted - good looks - foil cutter and bottle opener too Once you've used one of these you won't go back to a waiter's corkscrew.

Works well for wine corks and beer bottles, surprisingly well made for the price, makes a nice gift

Not going to lie, I had to watch a video in order to figure out how to work these lol. But now I’ve got the hang of it, it’s a great piece of kit.
