I does say "Genie" on it but it does work with the Overhead door opener. **Q: Will this open 2 doors?** A: Yes it will open up a max of 3 Overhead brand openers using the same pin. 1. Program your pin. 2. Setup for multiple doors. To use enter your programmed pin, select the “up/down button”, select the door you want opened (e.g. you would enter 1 or 2 or 3). Selected door opens. **Q: Does this work with the model 777cd? the unit says "phantom". the manual says "codedodger" (have successfully programmed w/ recent model cars)** A: You don’t need to reprogram your car. This only sends signal to the garage component. Then your car sends signal to your garage component. Hope that makes sense. **Q: will this keypad work with genie door openers bought in 2019 /** A: The instructions say this will work with any CodeDodger garage door openers. Definitely worth going with the brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Very Well... *by C***F on January 18, 2021* I had issues installing this wireless keypad. Apparently, the instructions for this model has changed as there is conflicting information on line with a completely different method of programing. This created a problem for the support person and me as we tried various ways of getting the unit programed to function with my 20-year old Legacy 696CD/B motor unit. Follow the directions with the wireless keypad but ALSO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF YOUR OPENER. We discovered that the keypad has to be at least 5 feet or more AWAY from the opener's antenna or it creates errors (the source of my difficulty) in our Legacy 696CD. Here I was, standing on a ladder with the keypad right next to the opener. No wonder... Once I understood the distance issue was causing the problem, programming was a slam-dunk...following the directions that are in the box with the keypad, NOT conflicting on-line directions for this model. This unit is wonderful! The back-lighting of the keypad makes use after dark a snap. Additional thoughts and observations after several months of use: I saw a review by someone claiming the batteries only last a month. We have not had that issue. No doubt that person's unit has a problem. For us, this has really been a dependable device. We wish now that we had done this years ago. The convenience of being able to access the garage without having to go through the house is worth the price of this very dependable keypad remote.
