220 volt - Tribest Slowstar Slow Juicer and Mincer, Model SW-2000 220V for International Use

This is an outstanding juicer. The juice tastes pure, rich and unadulterated. Due to the slow rpm it helps retain all the goodness from the fruit and veg being juiced. I even throw in lemons and limes complete with skin as I wanted the goodness from their skin. Very happy I got it. Just wish I didn't have to get it shipped to Australia as I ended up paying too much shipping costs through Amazon - they charged me $150 just for shipping alone. I later discovered others only charged $80. It pays to do your homework first. So basically I'm very happy with the item but not at all with Amazon's double shipping costs which I feel was an opportunistic a rip off.

The media could not be loaded.  I did extensive research on various juicer models and systems before settling for the Tribest Slow Juicer. I live in Lagos, Nigeria, so I ordered the 240V International edition.As I opened the manual a loose sheet fell out emphasizing “NEW JUICE CAP ADDED”. I tried to open the juice cap and the cap handle broke off. I was literally still unpacking and parts are breaking off already.On the first day, I juiced four (4) mature coconuts and I was in love with the machine. The rich coconut cream with minimal pulp made me overlook the initial disappointment with the fickle juice cap handle.On the second day, I made a citrus juice - eight (8) oranges and a couple of lemons and got a rich full body juice with little pulp in the juice. This love affair was going to last I thought.On the third day, I juiced leafy greens - spinach, parsley, cilantro, basil, cucumber, carrots, and lemon.On the fourth day, I juiced leafy greens again - spinach, parsley, cilantro, basil, cucumber, zucchini, lemon, and some grapefruit.On the fifth day, for a first batch, I juiced leafy greens - spinach, parsley, cilantro, basil, cucumber, and pear. I soaked some dates overnight to add but when I put in two unpitted dates and heard the noise I left out the remaining dates.I was partway through the second batch of beet root, ginger, and turmeric when the machine jammed. I tried to reverse it but no movement. That was very strange because according to my research, this machine never jams. I also observed that the beetroot pulp was coming through the juice tap. I stopped the machine and took off the auger housing and it turned out that the screen was broken.The screen and other consumables are not covered under the 10year warranty and so I’m left with a homogenizer.For less than a week of use, this is really disappointing.

Very quiet and self feeding, squeezes greens very well. The only two downsides being the fact that the main see through chamber will stain easily from juicing carrots and that it produces quite a lot of pulp if you are juicing fruits, especially apples and pears. But then again, pulp is good for you and quite delicious in fresh juice, however I prefer to sieve the juice if I'm storing it for a couple of days - the product comes with a small sieve which is a plus. All in all, happy with my purchase and glad that it comes with 10 year guarantee. A couple of tips: always try to wash the juicer straight after as leaving it to sit for a while might make it hard to clean it thoroughly in those couple of hard to reach crannies. Also, if you are used to a centrifugal juicer, go easy on the ginger as it really does squeeze it very efficiently.

Well, first me too, I god 160 $ shipping cost and found out it could be 80$, so do not buy on amazon, contact the seller directly ! Secondly, the juicer is ok if you do not have a Green Star Elite like me. I ve made few experiences and found out every time that the green star elite produce 33% more juice and better quality (better filtered) !! A lot of money if you make juices like me every day. Buy the GREEN STAR ELITE, it's much better !! Good thing is you do not have to push, but well, seems like in life every good things must be a bit worked out before :). Also, the juice pot are bad, juice goes everywhere when you want to fill up the glasses....I ask myself if the engineers have really tested the machine before to sell it !!

Ii have used my slow star juicer every day since it arrived and absolutely love it.Also love the mincer for making sorbet.Jack. NZ
