We bought these a little while ago to run on our balcony. We ran then around the perimeter of the balcony. Each light is very bright and only a few inches apart. Our balcony is about 20-25 feet high on the side of the building and the lights can be seen very clearly from street level. The lights have withstood lots of rain and even snow. We used zip ties (not too tight) to tie then to the balcony railing and it worked fine. The receiver works well as we use it through the glass balcony door. As long as there is a direct line of sight between the remote and the receiver, it will work, but only from a few feet away. I have to get about 5 feet or so away and aim it through the glass and it will work. Remote seems flimsy but works well. Overall very satisfied. I will update my review if needed.

I love these so much! They add the perfect coziness to my back porch out in the country! I stretched them from the porch to a tall pole, then back to another spot on the house, and the length worked out perfectly. I like the timer function and my son likes the different light settings. The brightness is just enough to lighten up the porch, but not enough to be able to read a book. Just the right amount to hang out and relax.

Update: 12/22/2020: today all the lights quit working. We have tried to no avail to get them to work by unplugging, adding new batteries to remote, checking the ends, using a different plug in source and none of the lights work. Very upsetting that we will have to replace the lights and notThese were a lesser expensive of the various rope lights. It met expectations with a few exceptions. We ordered several sets of these lights to cover a large outside area. We received 13 sets and 5 of the 13 sets either never worked or came apart in the process of stringing them. Granted, we had 8 sets that worked and we ordered an extra strand for this reason, we felt that 5 of the 13 was a bit much. Make sure you order plenty to allow for “the lemons” in the bunch and order in enough time that allows you to order more and hope the colors match before your event or need.

The lights worked great with mini command light hooks. This was my first attempt so I had to move them up so they are not hidden behind the window panels. The timer and the different options were great. The combination option was my favorite. Rounding corners was my only challenge with the lights. The view outside the window looks great but inside not so great. Next time I use them I think I know what to do and what not to do.

The rope diameter is smaller than I expected, but works well. I wanted to mount the lights under our steps to illuminate at night. There was no “adhesion” item that came with the lights so I used heavy duty staples that you hammer in. The timer function is what I was looking for and it is awesome! I also needed a long enough strand to string on every step that could plug in as our steps are not in the sun as they are shaded by trees all day. For the price, I would recommend this item.

It is a nice thickness not so bulky the size is 50 feet total not just the tube. So actually the tube lighting is around 45 feet with five feet for the cord. My beam is actual 50 feet so I need to see if there is an add on to extend it out.

I bought these to add a bit of ambient light to my bedroom. I have the around the top of my bedroom wall above and around my bed. They are the perfect lighting when I don't want to get up and got to the wall switches. I just hit the remote the there is light enough to see what I am doing.

We like how thin and flexable it. And the color is nice. Not too bright and we wanted it like that. Easy to turn on using remote.
