The person who installed it separated each strand into two’s. (no frizz)As of today I have only lost one strand and it is not noticeable. This is my first time using this hair i purchased it after reading reviews and my regular shipment from belovely hair did not come. I gave it 4 stars so far as it looked a little shiny in the package and during the initial install. I did the install myself and it took me about 3 hours total. What I liked is that the hair came preseparated in small bundles which were easy to separate for a more realistic looking install. What I didn't like is it appeared to be tangling right out the gate however with a little spray oil this cleared right up without giving it an over greasy look. I also like that they give you so much hair I can probably do 2 installations with just this one order And I still trimmed it out and thinned it out considerably. i used thinning shears around The perimeter and then teased the hair to give it a more realistic hairline additionally I preselected where I wanted my part to be and trimmed that hair and tease it out as well.
