Hello, the round cutout fot this hair stylist mat is 24.8'' wide, which is perfect for barber chair with base diameter of 27''.

Is it Smooth or a rough texture ?

I don't want to say that it is "perfectly smooth" I suppose there is a tiny bit of texture. But in the grand scheme of things I would say smooth. Definitely not anything you can notice walking on it or sweeping

Hello, this salon anti fatigue mat is made of PVC surface and PU foam.

Will this lay on carpet?

Yes. I bought it for my daughter at home salon. She has it on the carpet and it lays flat. I have a picture if you want it I just can’t seem to be able to upload it here.
