This is a mini kit from Nudestix called Sunset Nudes with three, peachy, nude colors. It comes with a black metal tin case and a pencil sharpener with a lid. There is a shimmery, bronze eye pencil called Sunrise Star. There is a light peachy nude lip pencil called Babe. And there is an all purpose, roll up stick for cheeks or lips called Sunset Strip. This is the brightest shade in comparison to the two nude shades, and it is a coral, melon shade. The pencils are made in Germany and are fresh for 24 months. The blush stick is made in Korea and has a freshness period of 12 months. This kit would be perfect for travelling. I would recommend it as a good value for a travel makeup kit if you want a coordinated, complete set with a case. You could probably get the same effect for less with any cream eyeshadow stick and a cream lip and cheek color though. I plan to use this kit primarily for travelling because the items are small. You can't get many looks from it because it ends up with two choices of either a nude lip or a coral lip. I prefer to keep the eye pencil reserved for eye area use for sanitary reasons. The lip pencil is very light, almost like a 60s nude lip. This probably restricts this set to lighter skin tones. Deeper skin tones could probably wear this lip shade with a darker lip liner but that defeats the purpose of having a travel kit with a few items. If the lip pencil were a deeper shade it would be more versatile. Then you could use it as a standalone color for all skin tones or as a lip liner for the coral lip/cheek stick. I think these kinds of peachy, nude shades are good for travel or a quick application. They blend out easily and nude shades don't need to be as precise as more dramatic colors. As an aging goth, these colors are not my preference but when you get older it helps to bring warmth and rosiness to your face. I think they work well for a coordinated look, even though I would have preferred a deeper shade for the lip pencil. One star off because it is tricky to sharpen large size, jumbo pencils. These pencils have hard, black plastic casings not wood. I don't think these products are enhanced by being sharpenable pencils. These are light colors that do not need sharp, precise lines. The lip pencil might have been better as a roll up balm like the lip and cheek stick. The eye pencil could have been a mechanical pencil like many cream eyeshadow sticks are. Having to carry a pencil sharpener and fuss with sharpening is a disadvantage for a travel kit.

I have mature, combination, slightly sensitive skin, and overall this kit worked well for me. The shades look true to the listing photos, and pigmentation is buildable—I needed a couple swipes with my fingers for more than a sheer wash. I’m not a fan of orangey eyeshadow, so I likely won’t use that shade much (just personal preference). The gel lip & cheek balm is natural and dewy, though it may be subtle once I’m tanned. I was hesitant about the all-over face color stick based on how it looked on the tube, but it actually blended beautifully and suited my complexion. I prefer its creamy consistency over the gel balm. Everything blended easily without splotchiness. The eyeshadow lasted most of the day with primer, and the blush faded only slightly. No scent and no irritation, which is important for my sensitive skin. The reusable travel tin keeps everything together in my purse and includes a sharpener. At $35–37, it’s a little pricey for me since it didn’t wow me, but it’s convenient and great for quick, natural, everyday makeup. Not for bold looks—perfect for minimal effort days. Pics included: one with my usual makeup but using the eye color and lip & cheek balm, one using minimal makeup with the all-over face blush color (grey sweatshirt), and one of the case and products next to a toothbrush (for size reference).

I really like the colors in this kit. They are true to the pictures. I found them easy to apply. The sharpener is a nice addition. The small tin would be especially nice for travel. However, a significant issue was that the kit I received had clearly been used. One of the items was missing the plastic wrap and did not have the cap on. A concern for several reasons. Fairly significant quality control issue there. Hopefully, this was simply an error and not something others should be concerned about. It obviously lowers my rating.

This set of NudeStix Sunset Nudes comes inside a small tin. The tin has a mirror. I love the size and appearance of the tin, but I was not so happy with the products inside it. The cap of the face blush was not on the product and the product was smeared onto the other items in the tin and on the mirror inside the tin lid. I was disappointed at this and also disappointed with the shades. They are quite orangey, which doesn't look great on many skin tones. I also don't like that the items have a fine glitter in them, which isn't expressed in the packaging. This makeup is for adults, not children. The eye color is thin and melts away quickly. The Babe lip and cheek balm is the opposite and feels sticky to me. And they too have fine glitter in them. The kit is also overpriced.
