It's a Voile strap - 100% reliable - say no more
It holds skis together like magic. It also fills many niches in the backcountry gear repair bag, such as holding broken ski boots together or reattaching skins long enough to get back to the trailhead. One tool for many odd jobs.

Massage Gun Securing Strap
Purchased these straps as a possible way to secure a massage gun in place so I could reach areas such as my back and shoulders. To my delight, these straps did the trick! Using 2 straps, I secured it to one of the metal posts of my headboard, and have been able to attack those pesky tight spots in my back and shoulders! Had been looking for a more affordable alternative to the insanely expensive "massage gun mounting holders," and needed a solution that wasn't a corner wall. Happy to say these are easy to put in place, even as someone with nerve/ joint issues in my hands. Overall, happy customer!

Lasted almost 3 years of daily use
I use a 15" black strap to hold my commuter bike's front wheel to the downtube as a makeshift kickstand, so that when I lean my bike against the filing cabinet at work, the wheel can't turn and let the bike fall over. It works great for that. I've been using the strap for this purpose continually since I bought it on November 2, 2017, and this morning (September 14, 2020), the strap finally failed. That is two months shy of a full three years. The strap had been showing signs of stress (elongation of the one hole that I always connect to) for the past couple weeks, and finally tore all the way through. Considering that I was using the same eyelet/hole every time, and the bike was parked in front of a large floor-to-ceiling window receiving direct sunlight every day, I consider this pretty impressive longevity and came to Amazon right away to order a new one. I figured I'd leave a review for others' benefit while I'm at it. It was well worth the $8 I paid in 2017, and I'm glad to see the price has only gone up to $8.50 (including shipping) since then. Thank you Voile for making a quality product at a reasonable price!

They grip well
Helps to keep a shovel attached to a bicycle. Probably not what most of you buying are interested in, but that is an option.

Like the aluminum buckle - wish it had free ship with Prime!
I have bought a bunch of these as well as some from the competition ("T" brand). I lean towards the T brand only because they offer free shipping with Prime, and these don't. Not to be petty, but when you are already paying $7-10 per strap (!) then adding in $3-5 extra for shipping? It gets expensive. I prefer the aluminum buckle over the plastic, and I always buy them longer than I think I need because the short ones have been way less useful for me.
