Bought 2 of these for my grandkids. They love them. My adult son tried it out before I wrapped it and he loved it, very calming. I am a therapist and was going to order one for my office but noticed the price is almost doubled. Not sure if this is due to tariffs. I would appreciate if amazon would let us know if that changes the price.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this product. I wanted to share this because it may be helpful to some of our clients/their kiddos!We bought one for our 5-year-old for Christmas and she has used it during meltdowns and sleeps with “Peppermint” every night. Then, our 1.5 year old became very attached to it and we bought one for him too. He takes “Buster” everywhere and sleeps with him every night. When he’s upset, he asks for Buster. It’s a really great tool for the kiddos and it’s proven to be so helpful during stressful times for them. I also love that they each have their own unique fur so we can tell the two apart by their unique spots 💛 super soft, super cute, and definitely worth the money.

One of the best set of tools I learned while working with children was Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Yale uses a system called RULER that, in short, helps recognize emotions, learn vocabulary to describe feelings, and gives children, teachers, educators, and parents the tools to help regulate emotions with all sorts of strategies (I recommend it to anyone and everyone).Although I only just discovered Purrble on Amazon the other day, I bought this under the guise of a being present for my husband because I knew that he'd understand how this little animal would be an asset for me and my anxiety. I retired from the field of education when I was 30 after requiring medical leave for anorexia and during treatment, I was diagnosed with PTSD. I was already being treated for anxiety, but everything I subsequently learned about my trauma-related triggers has helped me to identify situations that could potentially trigger panic or anxiety. Learning about ASD has also helped me observe my physical reactions and emotions in a way that my husband and I can come up with game plans for social situations and every day situations that tend to throw me off, emotionally, such as unexpected changes to my daily schedule. I lost my Emotional Support rabbit a year ago, after almost 12 years, which has been very challenging. This evening, I was feeling very heightened anxiety and decided to unbox our Purrble. I was so relieved to read that the batteries are already installed, so I'd be able to interact with it straightaway. I don't like to read instructions, but rather figure things out intuitively, but I glanced at how to turn it on. It's absolutely precious! This little creature is nothing like my Furbie- this is so soft and the design is genius. I watched the video and placed my order while watching it. I've already soothed it and soothed myself at the same time! I honestly think this is the best invention and best toy not only for neurodivergent people, but I think every family would benefit from a Purrble.

I've read many reviews. A lot of them I see on the bad side seem to have expectations that could not be met. That has little to do with the item. It is quiet for a reason, as it is smaller for a reason. These were made mostly for children and made to not be distracting to other kids around them. It is made to be that, and smaller to be able to carry in a backpack at school or places to keep the child safe from bullies. If you faced that in school you know what I'm saying. I am almost sixty and bought one to help me with my phobia of doctors and dentists. I have yet to see how well it works as I am still unable to make those appointments. I was thinking of taking it to all the local therapy places and see if they may be interested in it. It is useful. It's more than a toy.

My 10 year old son was diagnosed with anxiety a couple of years ago and recently with depression. In addition to other treatment, we gave him a purrble for Christmas. He bonded with it immediately. When turned on, the purrble makes upset noises if it's unhappy or scared and my son cuddles and rubs its fur to help it feel better. The purrble makes happy/giggle noises when happy. Sometimes its heart rate is fast and my son can calm it then too. Eventually it starts purring and will even fall asleep. In addition to calming my son when he's anxious or angry/volatile, the purrble helps him go back to sleep after a nightmare. I was worried the purrble would be too "young" for him, but it's perfect. I cannot recommend it more highly!

I ordered this for my 16 year old daughter a few months ago as she was dealing with extreme anxiety and panic attacks. I hated to see her go through this, so I was desperate to try anything to help her during that time. She was so excited when this arrived and while she is feeling so much better now (thank goodness) I still see her holding it from time to time, months later. (It almost reminds me of a Furby.) It’s so cute, makes sweet purring sounds, has a pacing heartbeat with vibration, and I could see this being helpful for people of SO many ages, for a wide array of circumstances. Makes a really sweet gift. Highly recommend.
