Most of the Old Testament history provides excellent character studies in each book; those are lost on many people simply because they never read any of them--or--it was so long ago they have forgotten them. We reared our 6 children on old-fashioned flannel-graphs. Now, with modern technology, SuperBook DVD's provide the best of two worlds: 1) it is portable and DVD's play in vehicles, at church Sunday schools, and at home. 2) Bible history can be taught by engaging the imagination of both adults and children. Overall benefit: learning how people in the past lived through some really tough times and yet survived with their faith strengthened; although they may have had to live with consequences from bad decisions, God helped them overcome. Some critics may claim a few of the stories do not follow the letter of the Word. Really?!! Then they need to watch them again and learn about Grace--God's infinite GRACE!
