Great coffee machine
I've always liked this company on their products and everything. But I'm gonna give you some info on it that I just learned today with it. It just came today number one. If you go a speck over the water of the 10 mile, when you're filling the water up, it flows out in the back, there's a peephole in the back where the water comes out of I advise you to turn around and go below the 10 mark marker. So you'll be sure not to have overflow in the back to my suggestion is to when you're ready to clean it out, the filter part where your coffee beans go I would just wipe it out because I program mine for the next morning and it It will stick the coffee in the grinder part. So a lot of it didn't go into the filter part to brew. The last thing is on the video with the man, not the first video. And the second one, he doesn't tell you anything about on programming. The light on programming when it's set, the light goes off. He doesn't explain nothing on the programming. So it's trial-and-error on this one, but all in all, I like it a lot, I really do keeps my coffee warm course. I will give you a hint. I've always liked thermal coffee pots. I would put hot water in the thermal pot while you're fixing your coffee. For whatever occasion, okay, once that is all done, empty the hot water out of your pot, the reason to it is it keeps it hotter longer, okay, I've been dealing with thermal coffee pots, and that's my suggestion cause I can have it up from 5 o'clock in the morning until almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon before it even starts just when Just warm Look how long it stays hot. If you warm your pot up. One more thing I will suggest for people who have animals, especially cats. If you program your coffee pot for the next morning. Beware of this, the grinder is very loud and I'll give you an example. It scared my cat that you just wouldn't believe it completely flew off. The bed couldn't figure out the noise, but they do get used to it. She's used to it now, but that's a little joke. I'll tell you. I don't need any other grinder on the counter. Now, cause all I do have is whole beans, nothing else like I said, I give it 5 stars their products are good. I really like them company and I'll pay the money if they give quality. Products, and they do

Works as advertised
Pros: The unit is reliable and works as advertised Reasonable price Nice insulated carafe (Reviews I read prefer insulated carafe over lower model with glass carafe) Cons: Have to clean and refill the unit every day Noisy during bean grind My wife wanted to wakeup to fresh ground coffee every morning, with the smell wafting through the house as she lay in bed. But within a week she stopped loading it the night before and just runs it manually in the morning. I knew that would happen, but I still got the full husband points for the gift so that's what matters! For ongoing husband points you can clean/load the unit yourself the night before. With these 'grind and brew' combo units, there is one big differentiator - whether the unit can grind and brew across multiple days or has to be cleaned/reloaded every day. This is a 'reload every day' solution, which I selected due to being less complicated. The reviews for 'multiple day' units pointed to problems managing beans/grounds/water reservoir/moisture existing in the unit together across multiple days. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend. But I'd say if you're buying it to use the scheduling feature, be sure you'll have the discipline and memory to setup the unit the night before. Otherwise the price and complexity is probably not worth it. Having a separate grinder and brewer is a cheaper, quieter and more reliable solution.

Not worth it
Two down........Before this we tried the kurig duo which was a disaster......This Cuisinart is not much better. Our typical use - 2-6 Cups of a typical coffee maker (translates to 2-2.5 Travel Mugs worth of coffee.) The 1-4 c brew function is not nearly as hot as the normal brew. But the normal brew itself is not very hot and the directions recommend pre-warming the thermal carafe with hot water. (The carafe resting place also warms during brew but shuts off after.) The whole reason to get a thermal carafe is to avoid a lot of these things...... The bean grinder does work well but doesn't fit enough for the whole coffee maker (not if you're doing a medium to strong bean weight to water weight.) It is incredibly loud and we don't use it because it will wake the whole house up. The only time the brew basket doesn't over fill with grinds is when using the grinder or when doing less than 4 cups. Our typical 6 cup demand leaves grinds all over the basket and carafe (and in our coffee.) The carafe design is horrible, you pretty much have to turn it upside down to get the coffee all the way out. Often we take the lid off to pour. We now only use this when we've forgotten to clean out the french press (our back up coffee maker).

Decent but loud.
Initial inspection and first use: Lots of plastic parts make me question the quality at first glance. The stainless face is a nice touch. Buttons are firm with good feedback. Not really sure why it has a warmer AND a stainless carafe.. The grinder is LOUD and screechy. It gets quite moist during use, so cleaning MUST be done after every use. No clue what the 1-4 button does, the directions make it sound like a different brew/extraction process and not just for making 1-4 cups. Not sure why you'd need a separate button for that. I wish there was more control over the grind size instead of the "one size fits all" approach. The blade grinder works decent and gets the job done loudly. The only way to control the strength of the brew is by adding more beans. The filter bucket will also require a lot of cleaning attention because the grinder shoots grinds everywhere, not just into the filter basket. It does make a decent cup of coffee compared to the 12 cup B&D I was previously using. The Cuisinart brews the water a bit hotter, the brew is a bit smoother. The carafe is a PAIN to empty, unless you have a double jointed wrist. It keeps the coffee hot for a couple hours, but its horrible to pour.

BIG improvement over the older 12-cup model
We purchased this unit to replace an older design 12-cup G & B coffee maker. I mainly want to focus on some significant improvements that Cuisinart has made. First, the new thermal carafe has significantly better insulation, keeping the coffee hot much longer than before. Also, the lid/spout top works better. The old one used to go into chaotic splatter mode near the end of the pot. This one does not, even though it looks identical. Second, it is way easier to clean out the grind path. With the old one, you had fish around clumsily with the provided brush to sweep the grind pathway out. The new one has an easily removed hopper/grinder assembly that can actually be washed out and allowed to air dry. This is a huge improvement. Cudos to Cuisinart.

Great machine for people who love to clean
Ordered this because I was looking for a programmable 10-cup machine with an insulated carafe, and the prospect of fresh-ground beans sounded fun. I like it well enough to keep it, but it requires a lot more work than the dump and drip coffeemaker I replaced. Pros: - Insulated carafe is great at keeping coffee hot without burning it on a hot plate. I just poured myself a cup from a pot I brewed 7 hours ago and the coffee was warm enough that I didn’t need to reheat it. Stays actually hot for at least 2 hours after brewing. - I like the Cuisinart brand and the other coffee maker I own from them is going strong after ~10 years. - Coffee made from both beans and ground comes out good without too much fiddling with ratios. I like that I have the option to use whole or ground for any given pot. - Everything is top rack dishwasher safe. - I like the metal permanent filter so I don’t have to use paper filters. Cons: - This is a big one if you are lazy like me and/or don’t have a dishwasher: SO many parts and pieces. All awkward shapes so they take forever to clean by hand or air dry. And they pretty much all need to be well cleaned after every use or the whole machine will get gross fast. - Another reviewer mentioned the grinder sounds like a jet engine. Accurate. (I’m not sure a quiet grinder exists though, does it?) - It is awkward to pour water from the carafe into the top of the machine. I use a measuring cup instead, which is just another thing I need to fetch, fill, and dry to make a pot of coffee. Overall, this machine adds probably 5 minutes to my daily coffee making. The insulated carafe is a big win, but if I could do it over again I’d buy an easy to clean, plain Jane drip coffeemaker with insulated carafe and then buy a separate bean grinder for those days I’m feeling ambitious.

Nice machine
I had this model but had to replace it after many years. The new model is slightly different in that the grinder sends the beans down to the filter to brew. This does make an extra step for clean up as the old model had the grinder built into the filter. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, the coffee is piping hot for hours in the thermal carafe. The grinder does its job so I don't need a second step in the morning coffee ritual. The coffee tastes great and the program feature is handy when you need it. I hope it lasts as long as my previous one. Lastly, the carafe does not drip when I pour a cup of coffee like other coffee makers.

Adorei ! Estou encantada com a cafeteira. Se tivesse que falar algo negativo , diria que ao usar o moedor do café ela faz um barulho durante o processo . Atentar para que se for usar só a parte do pó do café é necessário ativar o botão que desativa o moedor (grind off).

Excelente 👌
Es de las mejores cafetera que he tenido. De preferencia hay que comprarla con la jarra de aluminio. Muy buena calidad y excelente molido y colado.
