Perfect
Just got back from Iceland and this was amazing for those really cold windy days. Kept neck and face really warm.

Well made
Not cheap, but it's very comfortable and well made. Work out a dozen times so far, and it keeps my neck nice and warm. It's a snug fit on myself and my wife said the same. If you have a wider than average neck then it's probably going to be tight for you. It may well stretch a little, but I've not had it long enough to find out.

Pros: - Really does keep you warm - Kept cold air out when used as a neck warmer - Could use it to cover your nose and mouth and still breathe fine - Feels good quality - tight knit, bounces back after stretching, etc. - Tag is just little and so it didn't itch - Lightweight - It was the right length - long enough to pull up, but not feel bulky - Not itchy at all Cons: - It was just a little bit bigger than I would have liked, but as a small woman this is to be expected in one-size-fits-all, I suppose It felt a bit expensive at purchase, but after using, I understand the value.

I have worn this for a few weeks now, so I feel I can give a review. Like all Minus33 gear, it is made of soft, New Zealand raised (sewn in China), merino wool. The good stuff, in other words. As a fan of natural fabrics, especially wool (and linen), I seek out merino wool for if at all possible. It is generally soft and not irritating to the skin (I suffer from allergies to darn near everything), warm, and it breathes. The latter is all the more important when exerting yourself in the cold (and heat). I ordered this mostly for my bicycle commute, as a cold neck and chin are definitely not pleasant (and downright dangerous when extremely cold at speed). This gaiter is the ideal weight for exerting myself on the bike, providing insulation from the wind and allowing perspiration to evaporate. It allows some wind to penetrate, but is still warm (I run hot, so your conditions may be different). I find it useful down to about 15F or so, any colder than that and I don't ride (and too many encounters with iced pavement). It has plenty of stretch to it, easily staying on my face over the chin, mouth, or nose. It is easily adjusted as conditions change. The latter will result in condensation on my glasses, but that is the case with most gaiters and balaclavas. It can even cover the ears, although I usually wear a cap under the helmet, as cold ears are my pet, and painful, peeve. Wash-wise, Minus33 gear is all machine washable on cold. I believe the tags list low dry, but I prefer to line dry my wool goods. Only quibble I have is that I feel it could be a little longer, for more coverage down into my jersey. Recommended!

An amazing product! Worked well in extreme temperatures of -15 to even -30 degrees in Lapland Finland during our December 2025 trip. Didn’t smell even when it got wet and it dries up really fast too.

Using mine for cycling, flying, walking, it’s really useful and lightweight.
