OXFORD ENGLISH GRAMMAR COURSE ADVANCED WITH KEY (WITH EBOOK) Paperback – 11 July 2019

I went through the online PDF copy of the document and found it interesting and good. Felt it was a much-needed book that I had been looking out for a while. Then before ordering it straight, I gave a glance to the online reviews and other buyers' opinions as well. All the reviews were very much positive and coincided with my findings. I ordered it and received it a day early. Now, like the description stated on the cover of the book, it's actually a bit advanced. Please do not expect too much detailed theory or notes on the conceptual things. For entry-level and other intermediate-level students, there are other initial versions (Basic & intermediate) of copies available from the author. Please refer to them and order as per your course needs. Those versions delineate the concepts to the core of the grammar and cover all the topics and sub-topics in a well-versed manner. Honestly, I liked the book very much. Please refer to the PDF document before ordering it. Not just in reference to this book, but about any book. It always helps to understand the course contents and the depth of the concepts involved in it. A book without answers will not be of much use. Especially for those looking to improvise their grammatical skills.Professors, Michael Swan and Catherine had poured in really good efforts. They provided key answers to all the exercises in the last pages of the book. Additionally, the book came with a lot of proper coloring in it, which avoids the additional usage of any markers and colored pens. The book might appear a bit expensive, but I guess it's all worth the buy.This is my Genuine review of the book. Thanks!Review after a week:There is no comparison to this book. The book came with a lot of well-structured exercises. It helped to gain a very good perspective and the right usage of sentences. It explained things with detailed examples. Though I gave a limited time to refer to the portions of the book, to clear my doubts, I guess that was sufficient enough to correct my mistakes.Review after two weeks (Final Review):After going through the initial examples, I scribbled answers to the exercises on a rough book before I verified them with the answers. I got a good number of questions answered right. Then I practiced those that I got wrong at the initial attempt and corrected them after verifying them with the answers provided on the backside of the book. This book helped me a lot in understanding the detailed concepts and taught me the correct approach to putting the conceptual thoughts into the proper formation of sentences. Though it appears like I'm still at a learning stage, after all, learning in itself is a continuous pattern. There is no end to the betterment and advancement in expertizing the skills. I can vividly notice my progress and good improvisation in comparison to my previous times.A special thanks to the authors for taking tremendous efforts and writing such a wonderful book.

I have never seen this type of book which provides the huge english knowledge to each and everyone . Students , teachers , professors everybody can must have this magnificent treasure . Hail Oxford ...... Long live The England .

I am a great fan of Michael Swan Sir, and I am pretty sure you would be one once you have read this book. I have gone through almost all his books e.g How English Works, Practical English Grammar and Usage etc. The exercises given in the book are absolutely practical. They are aimed at equipping readers with the skills of both Written and Spoken English.Just go for it, if you wish to take your English to a new level.

The say ' I won't give a fig for a simplicity on this side of complexity but I will give my right arm for the simplicity on the other side of complexity ' just fits in this book.

If you want to learn grammatically correct english,you should purchase this book.I love this book.👌👍

I don't what is the use of cd in the times when we use usb drive or online platforms.The cds are sometimes damaged while delivery and all the cds gets damaged after regular use and there's no replacements. So there must be online availablity of the software ...at least for some years. After all we have paid a good amount of money and we have the ownership.The manufacturer can limit the use to one computer.
