Charged it over night. Placed it in vacuum and working well. Very good for cleaning under kitchen table and other smooth surface floors. Was good to replace one worn out battery. Arrived less than fully charged. I suppose that is due to some shipping requirements idk.

Work just as described. Fit nicely and work correctly in my machine.

Great replacement batteries for Dyson vacuums

I had an older Dyson model vacuum my sister left at my house when she moved to live with her daughter. She didn’t think it worked anymore as it would not charge. I didn’t use the vacuum for another 3 years when my daughter suggested we buy a new battery as she has a current Dyson and said that might be the problem. Sure enough. Bought this and now I have a working Dyson too! Used model number to order the replacement battery online from Amazon. Saved me $500+ by not having to buy a new vacuum. Holds charge perfectly now!

With normal use this battery will probably last 2-3 years.

Working just fine as designed, longer available from OEM, must use aftermarket suppliers.

After only 5 months the battery voltage has dropped to a point where the Dyson vacuum will not power the power brush on the extension for carpet cleaning. Even with a fully charged battery the power brush will come on only for a few seconds and then it is shut off. This is the 3rd replacement battery I have purchased and it is by far the one with the shortest lifespan. The vacuum still works fine with a decent operating time as long I don't attach the power brush on the extension.

Gives my 20+ year old Dyson an extension of its life.
