I have worn this sweater already and it held it’s shape just fine. The yarn very light and airy but also warm. I’d say it’s a fingering weight. For crochet, it made a very nice and drapey fabric. My sweater does not look or feel stiff. I used quite a lot of the balls. A few had knots in the middle but not all of them. So I suppose it’s hit or miss. I only had it break on me once, when I tried to tighten a knot and pulled too tight. Otherwise no problems. I really liked working with this yarn and would do it again. Review: Very nice to work with! - It’s a baby blue color which will suit any things you want to crochet/knit for your little ones- socks, mittens, hats/any sets. Be careful with pulling the threads if you have a knot - it breaks easily! Best if you would make your things in double thread - from my own experience.
