I was searching for a ball that works with a ChuckIt! ball launcher, won't wear teeth down and was likely to be a low choking hazard.These balls work with a ChuckIt! Fetch & Fold Launcher. I would imagine they work with any standard size tennis ball launcher. Distance is minimal throwing into the wind, decent without wind (with the right arc, maybe ~100-150ft?) and works quite well throwing with the wind. Obviously these are not going to fly as far as a regular tennis ball or ChuckIt type balls but I am very happy with them.These shouldn't wear down teeth at all like tennis balls do. I didn't know any better 20 years ago with my first dog and she wore down all her incisors to the gum line from chomping repeatedly on tennis balls. The fabric is abrasive to teeth. So far the three of these squeaker balls in circulation are fully intact. My dog only chomps these for the squeaking. She does it a lot. Squeakers are still working. She does not try to destroy these balls unlike everything else in the house. You know your dog. If you think they will tear these balls apart, don't bother buying them.With all the little spikes on these balls I would be surprised if they turned into an accidental choking hazard unless your dog starts ripping them apart or the size is not appropriate for your dog (my dog is ~50 lbs). Update: added benefit of the spikes is that I can pick up the ball and get minimal to no slobber on my hands.The only negative for me is the squeaking. My dog loves the squeak, me not so much. Update: I took a nail and pushed it into the squeaker hole to silence the squeakers.Be very careful and read the one star reviews of any balls for your dog before buying them. I was thankful I did. There are some reviews of balls out there that, if accurate, are downright dangerous and manufacturers should probably be sued for incompetence since they are still selling them (think ChuckIt! Ultra Squeak, ChuckIt! Air Fetch, etc).

The picture with ball on hand is off. Larger than tennis ball, sort of a softball. Dogs will. have these for hours if you willing to throw. They are tough. My dachshund will hang from it no problem. Heavy chewers will kill the squeaker but that won't affect the ball. Can't go wrong. As for any residual smell, Dogs don't seem to care.

These spikie balls are very bright colored. The balls are nice and soft. Made for bigger dogs. We use them for water retrieves. Nice product, fair price, quick shipping. Waiting for the water to warm up so dogs can play.

These balls are pretty sturdy, have a decent bounce, and the squeaker lasts a while--my dogs aren't that rough on their toys but the squeaker does die eventually. Which may not be a bad thing depending on your tolerance to the noise. I did not like that they have a strong chemical smell when I first got them. I left them outside in the sun for about a week before the smell faded. I suspect the spikes wouldn't hold up to a strong chewer, mine don't chew on toys too much so it's not been a problem. What I DO like a lot is the spikes let me hold the slimy ball without getting too much slime on me--definite advantage over most balls!

I thought these would be a little on the bigger side but they feel like lemons. My dogs are obsessed with them though! So honestly for them, it doesn’t matter and they love playing with them. I’m glad that it comes in a 6 pack and I can just try to find as many around the lawn and toss them all day for them to play.

My chocolate lab loves these and so do I. They keep her busy for hours and are very difficult to chew up.

The balls only lasted a week before my dog broke them.

Love these balls for our dog. He will only play catch with these balls. They do last for so long as well!

The puppy enjoys playing with these balls as they are not too big for her mouth. The older dog loves the sound of the squeak.

Our miniature wire haired dachshund loves these and unlike some similar balls it squeaks too. They are not indestructible so best to keep an out whilst in use.

He plays with his toys everyday, this ball is on high rotation!
