Honest Pet Products Eco-Quacker Eco-Friendly, Duck Dog Toy Made in The USA from Natural, Durable Hemp - Small - for All Breed

Ugh, this is a difficult review to write. Being a hover mom to my pup, I wanted the most "organicky," non-toxic toy I could find for my boy, who LOVES squeaker toys. Unfortunately most of them being end up made in China and covered with God knows what kind of toxic paint and chemicals. Lo and behold, I found the Eco Quaker and I was so excited: made in the USA, from all natural hemp, and it had a squeaker! So here comes the bad news: my pup didn't really take to this toy. In all fairness to him, the squeaker isn't that loud. And you really have to do a whole lot of shaking of the Eco Quacker in order to hear the squeak. My boy likes to bite into the toy and hear that rewarding noise feedback, but with the Eco Quacker he had to downright shake the toy just to hear the tiniest little squeak emerge. Also, the squeak the toy emits is quite different than what you are probably used to from the more popular squeaky toys. (Not sure if this is a pro or con, but just wanted to note it.) Still, I couldn't rate this product too poorly because I really respect the brand and their mission to make safe, all natural dog toys in the USA. I just hope the squeaker situation can be improved in the future.

We have had this toy for almost a week and she has yet to destroy! She’s a 11mo 20lb toy Aussie mix who is constantly busy and cuts off any floppy bits off of toys so within the hour she cut a leg off and attempted to cut the seems. Luckily the seems are very durable and thick so she has yet to get into it. The squeaker is NOT a squeaker therefore she’s not very interested in it. She does know how to shake it violently to produce noise though.4 stars because it’s hard to get it to make noise and the noise is quiet.

What's not to love. This is a large sturdy toy that one of my 20-pound puppies can play with alone or play tug with his brother. It's holding up with no discernible wear, so I hope it will hold up as they grow. It makes a whistling bird sound as it moves, which keeps them attracted, and lures them to me when I move it a bit. It's also also fantastic that I don't have to worry about strange artificial materials poisoning my dogs.This duck is actually larger than I envisioned it and is well-made. I expect it to last for a long time.

I initially gave this product a bad review because my dog had it ripped up in less than 5 minutes. I called the manufacturer and left a message how displeased I was. To my surprise, the owner, a very nice lady, called me back and apologized and explained that they had a quality control issue. She offered to refund my money and set free toys as a bonus. I am very impressed with her willingness to make it right so that she has a happy customer. I love the fact that they are using hemp and organic materials, which ensures that pets are getting safe, healthy toys. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COMPANY!!

Great product until our Yellow Lab turned about four months old. After that point he chewed right through it. I give it four stars based on our experience up until that point and we really didn't expect it to hold up as his chewing capacity matured.

Your dog will still destroy it if you don't watch them closely.

My 8 month old (50 lb) puppy ripped it to shreds (literally) within an hour of it arriving. I liked the concept, but it just wasn't up to the task. I've never seen a toy that lasted such a short amount of time. Maybe if the fabric was much thicker then it would be more durable...
