Best game I've ever played
I preordered this and boy am I glad I did. As an ex-Cod player, I decided to make the leap, and wow did this game blow me away. As I watch the trailers for BF4, it's incredible how far ahead this game is. The destruction is unreal, the graphics are on a level of their own, and the teamwork required is unparalleled. I bought this for PS3 originally, and have since also purchased Battlefield Premium and Battlefield 3 on PC. Strongly recommend having a mic and playing with friends on this game. It's not about the KD ratio, it's about teamwork, playing the objective, capitalising on your strengths and their weaknesses. Whether it's jets, choppers, tanks, jeeps, dirtbikes, quadbikes, sniping, machine gunning, c4ing or just going all out with an assault rifle, you get some incredible moments in battlefield that you won't experience in any other game. If in doubt, youtube "only in battlefield" and watch some of the awesome things you can do in it. On PC, you get 64 player servers, and HUGE open battles that are constantly changing due to battlefield's destructive Frostbite 2 engine. If you're not sure if you want Battlefield 4 when it comes out later this year, buy this now when the price is fairly cheap. A year and a half on, and it's still my favourite game ever, with my second being GTAIV. This game is great for those hotshot snipers or assaulters who aim for high KDs, or those who are just looking for a laugh, or those who prefer to just play the objectives. The number of times where you see people with huge scores who have low kills is more often than not, just showing how DICE have found the perfect balance between run and gun and teamwork.

Different from Call of Duty - significantly better
Having been a Call of Duty player since 2006, it was difficult at first to adapt to the game as the style of play of the game is much different. This is more team based, with one another working together to complete the objective of the game (whether it be plant to bomb or defuse like 'Sabotage' and 'Search & Destroy' like Call of Duty). You, as an individual, can still make a significant impact on the game to help your team but there are no such things as 'One Man Team' on this game like there can be on Call of Duty - you MUST work with your team. It can be quite frustrating when your team is not as good as you, but there certainly are ways around this. On the whole, great game and recommended over Call of Duty anyday! Battlefield has a new fan.

Great but missing something
The visuals are amazing don't get me wrong but I've played all the battlefields and all the call of duties and this didn't quite cut it. The campaign is great but with the campaign I'm always left wanting more. The confusing after game menu is co convoluted that I get headaches from it. The maps are beautifully big but I feel at times that you are running far too long as vehicles are not around. The previous 2 iterations were great but this didn't quite cut it for me.

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this game, I can't stop playing it. 10/10. The story is 100 times better than any COD one, and the multiplay, doesn't even get me started! The multiplay is incredible and so much better than COD. It requires skill to play, not just squeezing a button and getting a kill. The vehicles are a huge selling point of this game. The maps are more spend out, and the frostbite engine provides amazing destruction of vehicles and even buildings. Don't pick COD because it is more popular, battlefield is the best shooters ever! Can't wait for Battlefield 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
