will it hold 34" ultrawide on the bottom with 27" ips on top? the height of the 34" is the same as 27"..

Hello, my 27"ers are both 14 1/2" tall...I tried stacking them to see if they would fit. It was too close to tell without actually redoing the entire setup. After using this mount I don't think I could live without one. So good luck with your project and hope it works for you:) If it doesn't fit Amazon is good about returns.

Can this be mounted on a wall?

I am sorry to say not this model. It is desk mount only. There a few wall mount units out there so good luck! That stated, if you are a handyman wood worker maybe if a lot of effort is put into altering it. On a positive note, this monitor stand has been excellent supporting 2 - 27" screens for a couple of years now:)

what is the height of the pole that holds the mounts?

The mounting pole is 17" desk to top. I have two 32" screens supported by this stand. It is stable, easily positioned and clears off the desk top. Beware wall desks need space for arms to flex. I recommend and will purchase again. Happy computing, gaming etc.!
