Blue and White Covered Mug

I bought this cup for my Grandmother and wanted to make sure it wouldn't get too hot and cause any injury, so I tested it.The size is just right for her; not too big and the pottery isn't very heavy. She doesn't do huge cups of tea. The cap has a little knob, actually it might be too little, but there's a nice ridge that extends beyond the edge of the cup that's easy to handle. I didn't find that excessive heat a problem on the cup, handle or cap, even with a newly made hot cup of tea. And it did help keep the liquid warm longer... which was the whole point.The cup is prettily colored and didn't have any obvious defects that I could see. I DIDN'T put it into the microwave though, and maybe I should have. Some glazes become superheated because of a metal powder in them, so if someone verifies whether or not this cup is microwave safe, that would be very useful information we all could use.Other than that oversight on my part, it's a good buy.

Excellent mug. Does not get a coffee residue build up like other mugs. I got the blue, brown, and green. All three have different types of glaze style. Blue is my favorite. Got a second blue to have at work. Lid does help keep your coffee or tea hot longer, even outside in cold weather. And keeps my cat from drinking out of it. Beautiful box no need for a gift wrapping. Excellent two finger handle, fingers don’t hit the side of the hot mug and has a perfect balance, stays level while holding, better than a traditional western style mug. Large volume mug. Will hold a kureg large servings with room to spare for creamer.

It's a cute mug and the lid is nice for steeping tea. I purchased it as a gift for my male boss who loves tea. The major complaint that I have is that it's extremely thin, which I assume is standard for this kind of mug, but it will definitely end up being broken by my boss within a few weeks. $20 for a mug with that high of a risk of breaking isn't really worth it, but it still made a nice gift. I personally wouldn't buy this for myself.

I had purchased a similar ([ASIN:B00E9D9Y9W Green Hakeme Covered Mug]]) Miya cover mug recently and was very impressed with just how nice it was when it arrived. Problem was that my wife liked it very much as well and wanted to use it all the time! I ordered this mug so that we would both have one and wouldn't have to fight over the green one!This thing is a real beauty! I know it's just a tea mug but when it arrived I was so impressed with how nice it looked! It also works well for steeping and keeps the tea hot. No regrets about this purchase at all. As a matter of fact I will probably have to buy more now that my kids and friends have seen these ones! Everyone wants one now!

this was a gift from my daughter to her dad, he uses it every night to drink his evening tea. Perfect for the amount of tea he drinks.

I'm into Korean films - big time. So, when I saw something like this being used in a few of the films, I had to see where to find them and SmileAmazon has them, yay. I order this blue one for myself and the green for my husband. They are VERY well made. Nice pieces of craftsmanship. They work great with keeping tea fairly warm and look really nice. I love my blue covered mug.

Purchased this same mug for my father a few years ago he loved it. He is a tea drinker. He recently dropped and broke his mug . He wouldn’t use a different one so I purchased another. Think I will get and extra one just in case. Love this mug!

Very pretty mug. I bought it for the office and wanted a mug with a lid so I wouldn't slosh hot water as I walked back to my desk with a mugful of hot water. Tea seems to cool rather quickly due to the ceramic I suppose, but the charm of this mug overrides this small drawback. Have received many compliments.
