Holmes HUL310-U-2 1 Gallon Ultrasonic Humidifier with Adjustable Mist, White

Note- I live in a desert climate where there is very low humidity. It does everything it is supposed to do! Quiet operation. Warm or cool mist settings. Long run time. Small footprint. Adjustable direction for mist output. The only think I don't like (very minor issue) is that when you are cleaning the unit it is hard to get all of the water out of the reservoir. I have several Holmes air cleaners that I have used for 20 years without any trouble. I hope I have the same experience with this. I will probably buy another unit soon.

Good basic humidifier. It has both warm and cool mist features, although the warm doesn’t seem very warm (maybe they’re all like that?). It produces a good amount of mist for a small to medium room.

Works great, does suggest distilled water use in unit which I have been using. No problem with wetness on floor as I have had in past with other units. Happy with my purchase

I owned Holmes Warm Mist humidifier for a few years and I loved it, but the product isn't available to purchase anywhere, so after doing my research and reading the reviews, I bought this item.At first, I and my husband both loved the product as it was quieter than the old model and you can see the visible mist coming out.Like other reviewers pointed out, the warm mist isn't really warm. It comes out (slightly) warm if you put your hand to the nozzle, you can feel the warmth (barely), but as soon as it leaves the nozzle, it becomes cool mist. It was fine since we were using it in our baby's room, it was perfect so the baby doesn't get hurt if she accidentally touched the nozzle.But after using it for a month, the transducer was breaking (see the photo) and peeling. I washed the unit weekly with vinegar and only used soft toothbrush and towel. It also started to make loud noise. Most of all, there's no way to clean the unit completely. There are some spots/areas that I cannot reach to clean it fully. The instruction suggested I clean it with bleach, but I don't want to use bleach on a product that emits mist to my baby's room.Unfortunately, I discovered these after 1 month, so I can't return the product. Don't make the same mistake I made. I wouldn't buy this.

Do not be misled by the Model ID it holds about ONE gallon. plus I am 80 plus years old with hearing issues and I have a problem with it running in my bedroom with a loud humming sound..

This was purchased for my wife. She said it's much better than the filter-less HM495-UC that lasted 8 years. It's very light, easy to fill and quiet. The HM495-UC required a towel under it but this design can be put on a night stand without needing anything. Overall, it's a good product.

I love it in general. The warm mist isn’t warm. It’s not cool but isn’t warm. But otherwise I love it

Intentare ser breve. Es un humificador muy bueno, el mejor precio comparandolo con otros que también tiene la opción de regular la intencidad de la niebla o con la misma capacidad de 1 galón, el cual si dura unas 30 horas en el mínimo, además de que tiene la opción frio/cálido; aquí un paréntesis, claramente específica que no es vapor caliente, si no niebla y lo que hace realmente es calentarla entre unos 3°c - 8°c por arriba de la temperatura ambiente en la que se encuentre, muy importante se verá afectado por la ventilación que haya en el lugar. Lo ocupo en unos 40m² aprox y lo he usado casi diario por un mes (actualizaré mas adelante). EN CONCLUSIÓN, REALMENTE CUMPLE CON TODO LO QUE DESCRIBE. No le pongo 5* porque lo tedioso que es dedicarle tiempo al mantenimiento usual, que es: casi diario que lo relleno hay que enjuagarlo muy bien para evitar microorganismos, también hay que limpiarlo semanalmente con vinagre para que no se acumule sarro y desifectarlo con cloro. En resumen, Paso 1: leer el instructivo. PASO 2: Un ambiente con la humedad que mas les agrade :)

Solo me funcionó una semana y después empezó a hacer ruidos y ta no salió nada.

No sirve, nunca sacó vapor.
