Not really a Match
I have tried filling this with both kerosene and lighter fluid, and neither of them light easily or with consistency.

Not a good permanent lighter.
This is not a good permanent match. A BIC lighter would last longer. The wick is short and the fuel storage is small, maybe half teaspoon. The unit will light okay if you have fuel but you would need to carry lighter fluid with you. Burning 3 seconds would only give you about 10 lights and then you would have to refuel or the wick will burn down. The storage is about 1/4” by 1.5” cylinder. It’s not the shape of the bottle. With the wick going into unit, hardly no room for fuel. Definitely not survival, maybe, with the flint, but count on using another fuel or tender.

Not worth it.
It's anice item just doesn't work like they say it does. No directions. The flint was out of it with in 5 uses.
