Fairy Flora: A Garden-Talent's Guide to the Plants of Pixie Hollow

This is the 3rd time I've been asked to rate the book I purchased for my great granddaughter. I will respond again. The book arrived in excellent condition. However, the plant paper on page 25 was missing, so that was a little disappointing. In spite of this, my granddaughter loved the book.

Bought this book to share with my young granddaughters. Both love gardens and, naturally, fairies.This Disney book talks about the garden fairies of Pixie Hollow. It includes beautiful illustrations and charming fairy garden hints. For example, plants like you to talk to them.

This book has simply gorgeous art, great messages about the environment and natural medicines found in some plants (they keep it to the simple, safe stuff for the kiddies), and how some plants should be left alone due to their poisonous nature. It's narrated with examples of how some of the fairies use plants (like Elixa treating sick forest animals) and it contains seed packets of easy to grow flowers! Plus, you get to see a great deal of the gorgeous Rosetta. Well worth it just for that!
