Spektrum AR630 6 Channel AS3X Safe Receiver, SPMAR630, Black Medium

The programmability. I dislike having to go through everything. To programming some functions aren't even mentioned in the instructions. I discovered them by watching YouTube. Once it is programmed, it is a great working receiver and you can do so much with it. My major problem was getting AS3X to work. I still haven't gotten bad down. Turn it to a s three x it acts like safe but without the elevator. If somebody has an idea, I would greatly appreciate. It is a great receiver and programs nicely if you can discover all the features.

This receiver is great for my 65” Spitfire. The AS3X & Safe are great features.

I went to Spectrum receivers because I was having unknown issues with Admirals. This AR630 was recommended to me by other club fliers as being reliable and fairly easy to use. The nice part of this receiver is that it has no external antennas and is easy to place in your plane. I was a bit worried because it has no antenna and would not receive the signal as well as an antenna receiver. I no longer have any concerns because I've flown with them for hundreds of hours without any signal loss. I am in the process of replacing all my Admiral receivers with this one. I do recommend this receiver.

Receiver arrived a couple of days before stated and in perfect condition. Installing it in my 30cc gas biplane. A couple of weeks and I’ll have it ready for its first flight. Can’t wait! Thanks “Atlanta Hobby”

Great product, for use in almost any plane or jet!

The AR630 Spektrum receiver works exactly as advertised. It is a great receiver.

As usual, Spektrum is the leader in RC Transmitter and receiver electronics. I have a DX6 Gen 2 transmitter which I used to program the receiver. Very straight forward. Word of caution... When you fly the plane with the newly installed receiver. DO NOT USE the SAFE mode. Once you have reached a high and safe elevation switch to SAFE mode. I had a plane the flipped over and crashed once. Did it only once. Otherwise, everything Okay.

I purchased a LemonRX stabPlus receiver to put into my trainer plane. It was easy to setup, but did not actually work. I broke down and purchased the real deal Spektrum SAFE receiver. It took me about an hour to understand and setup the receiver in the plan to have Beginner, Intermediate, Advance modes but it all worked on the first go. It is worth buying the real deal.

If you own a SPEKTRUM RADIO then this is the perfect RECEIVER with a gyro in it (SAFE). Often this Receiver is on sale in the month of February and goes up in price for the summer months.
