Great Portable Mattress
I purchased this thing just to lay down and watch TV when my back was bothering me, and so just expected something reasonably well built and workable. Wow, was I ever surprised at this item. It is so comfortable that I swear I've fallen asleep on it and slept half-way through the night before waking up! It is sturdy, comfortable, light, and handy, too. The Mattress easily folds up into a tri-fold configuration, and then two handles are used on one side just to move it around, which is also easy because it isn't really that heavy at all. I think the thing that surprised me the most was how firm and comfortable it is: it FAR exceeded my expectations, and now I use it all the time. I've had lots of portable mats, mattresses, etc., and nothing has even come close to this. Nice touch: the material that covers the cushioning is all zippered, so you can unzip and throw in the washing machine to freshen up the covering (but not the inner mattress, of course, which would not even fit in a washing machine!). It looks nice, too, which may sound irrelevant, but when you have it folded up, you can put it up against the wall in an upright position, and it looks just fine. So, I can give this an excellent recommendation, and even though it looks a tad on the expensive side compared to others in its class, when you try it yourself, I think you may agree that it is worth every penny. Five Stars.

So comfortable and portable
This tri fold mattress is so handy to have for when you have company come to visit. It folds up to near compact size for easy storage when not in use. When fully extended it is the same size as a twin sized bed. The mat is made of high density foam. Very soft and comfortable. Give lots of support. This can be used for not only sleeping but, yoga and other exercises that require you to get on the floor. Also works get for kids. My daughters use it to practice their cheerleading and gymnastics. The mat has a washable cover that comes off. Throw it in your washing machine and allow to air dry. Very easy to care for. It's so lightweight that it's perfect for travel or even camping. I would highly recommend it. Made very well using high quality materials.

***FIBER GLASS EXPOSURE FROM MATTRESS!!!
Dangerous Product - Caused Health and Financial Issues I am writing this review to warn others about the severe distress and hardship caused by this foam mattress. We purchased this mattress for our full-time RV, only to discover particles of fiberglass throughout our living space. This alarming finding prompted us to investigate further. To our horror, we found that the fiberglass particles had spread throughout the entire RV. We even saw the particles floating in the air, contaminating the very air we were breathing. We believed the RV was the source of the contamination. This led us to contact the RV manufacturer and undergo multiple inspections, incurring significant travel expenses and displacement from our home for months. This entire ordeal also resulted in a substantial loss of business income. After months of inspections from the RV manufacturer they advised that no source can be found where fiberglass was coming from though they acknowledged it was present. I was "sure" that is was the RV. Then the discovery of the fiberglass from the mattress happened by accident. My son was lying on the bed wearing a new watch with a rubber band, and the static cling from the watch band picked up the fiberglass particles. This caused me to investigate in the immediate area where he was playing, which was the mattress liner inside the cover. It was spreading this fiberglass material throughout the RV. Upon closer inspection, we realized that the liner of the mattress is made of fiberglass. It had immediately releasing dangerous fiberglass particles into our RV. After this much time the timing of our purchase and the visible presence of fiberglass made it clear that the mattress was the culprit. This hazardous material had infiltrated every corner of our living space, posing a serious health risk to our family. Living in a fiberglass-contaminated environment has caused us immense stress and worry, especially concerning the potential health effects on our children. We have spent countless hours and resources trying to clean and decontaminate our RV, but the problem remains. Our lives have been turned upside down, and our home has become a source of anxiety and discomfort. We have since wrapped the mattress in plastic and tape and stored it until Amazon finds a resolution. ***THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE REMOVED AND NO LONGER MADE.*** Please do not buy this product. If you already have, inspect your area for fiberglass immediately. I am especially concerned about the health risks to children exposed to this hazardous material. This product should be removed from the market. It is unacceptable for such a dangerous item to be sold, causing unsuspecting families severe health and financial issues. Stay strong and resolute in your decisions regarding this product. Your health and safety are paramount. Do not let this product bring harm to your loved ones as it did to ours.

Better than sleeping on the floor
This thing arrives squashed down by vacuum in a plastic package inside a box. When you open the box up and release the mattress from the plastic, well, it’s pretty sizable. Big enough to take up more room than you’d think in the back seat of a crew cab, full sized pickup truck. It’s moderately comfortable. If you want great comfort, get a decent hotel room. If you’re spending a night or two in a tent or on the floor of a buddy’s cabin, this will get you by with okay comfort. For the price, it’s comfortable enough, and it doesn’t deflate overnight like every air mattress I’ve ever had the displeasure of owning. The downside is that it takes a considerable amount of storage space, and it’s not comfortable enough to use as an everyday bed, at least not for me. If you’re well over 40 like me, you’re going to have to get down to floor level and back every time you use it, so factor that into your mattress vs. hotel room decision. You’re going to need a few cubic feet of space to store it when you’re not using it. Factor that in too. If it all adds up for you, I can recommend it as a decent alternative to an air mattress, and a less expensive alternative to a hotel room. If this is a purchase you’re contemplating for a child’s use, while I still wouldn’t use it as an everyday bed, it would be more comfortable for them than the typical oversized American adult, which I am.

Should have bought this first!
I bought this hoping for a good foundation for my plywood bed in my van. Despite having a pillow top cover, 6 inches of priemum memory foam, 2 inches of generic memory foam, and a 1/2 inch of firm foam, it was comfortable for the most part, but even at 175 pounds, I was still bottoming out to the wood. The Cozzzi twin mattress arrived and I opened it up on my house floor and gave it time to fully expand. I did not detect any smells at all from it. Time for the first test. Will I bottom out to the floor? Not at all, not even close. I would say it gives about a medium to firm support. I was amazed how comfortable it actually was. That's about how I like my mattress firmness, so this was great. While transferring it to my van I found the only negative item. The Velcro securement tabs on mine are absolutely useless. They would not hold together at all. Since I don't plan on moving it once it's in the van, this was no big deal. So not taking a star away for that. In fact, I just cut them off. I already knew it would be too long for my spot, so I planned on cutting off one of the smaller folding sections. Then I remembered the very convenient zippers to remove the foam to wash the item. Unzipped it, removed the section, (saving it if I ever need it), and there it was, a perfect fit. The mattress is great by itself, but since I already had it, I added back the 6 inches of memory foam and the pillow top. The only bad part, is now the most comfortable bed I've ever had, is in my van.

Very comfortable AND Perfect for the back of a GMC Yukon suv
Comfort level, the best!!!! It took about an hour for the foam to decompress all the way. Well made. We ordered this for the back of our Yukon. We had a very long drive and did not want to stop at hotels. Length was a perfect fit. Maybe a 1/2" shorter would have been optimum. The 31" wide was great. It allowed room for our baggage and kennel. Great support and slept very well. Mattress as comfortable as my own bed. The white side, the woven knit it very silky and nice. But it does snag. I'm making a cover from a sheet to protect it, when it's being used. I washed the cover when we returned home. Made sure all zippers were zipped up. Washed in a front loader, normal wash, warm water. Tumbled dry on medium low for 20 minutes. It washed well, no shrinking. The cushions went back into the cover easily. I did need to do some slight adjustments as I zipped it up. I did not need to force the zipper. If I needed a second folding mattress I would not hesitate to purchase this again.

Great for Unexpected Guests or Travel
I purchased the Cozzzi folding mattress to sleep on for summer weekends at my brother's trailer on Cape Cod. It was surprisingly comfortable for a lightweight fold-up and I had no trouble sleeping at all (though I wish it were a few inches wider - I toss and turn a lot and went off the side once or twice, but not a deal breaker). The bamboo top covering was soft and the mattress was firm enough for my 60-year-old back. It opens and folds easily, though it can open itself while standing upright; I solved that easily by looping a twist tie between the two handles to hold them together while storing or carrying. The outer covering seems sturdy. The mattress comes compressed in a plastic wrapping (not reusable) but after leaving it open for 24 hours it had fully reinflated, and I didn't detect any funky chemical odors from it. Overall I think I will get a lot of use from this Cozzzi mattress and I'm glad I purchased.

Very nice but VERY strong smell
I really want to give it 5 stars but the smell of the foam is so overwhelming it makes me nauseous and gives me a headache. I’ve been “airing it out” for days but it’s still incredibly strong. I’m hope it after a couple weeks it will fade. I bought this for my almost 5 year old who often wakes up in the middle of the night and likes to sleep in my room. It’s very comfortable and soft. It’s long enough for a person about 6ft tall. It easily folds up and the handles are a nice touch. It will be great for traveling etc. I’m sure hoping the smell fades soon.
