InnoGearCake Turntable, 12 Inches Cake Decorating Stand Rotating Icing Turntable for Cake Decorations

I have been wanting to buy a decent turntable but not sure what to go with.Recently made a large 4 tier wedding cake for a friend, so took the plunge as I knew my existing plastic one would be nowhere near up to it. The turntable easily supported a 12" very heavy, double height (8" high) fruit cake, marzi-panned and then royal iced. (probably weighed at least 15kg)It was so easy to skim the icing as the turntable ran so smoothly, also did the same great job on the the other three cakes (butter cream/ganache with fondant)I saw some comments that it is almost TOO free-running, but I felt this is the one thing you need a turntable to do - and I didn't feel it ran away with you.Any static work, I just put it on a flat surface or on my wooden lazy susan.Would not hesitate to recommend!

My daughter loves it. A quality made turntable, it is so smooth when being turned. It has a good weight, not light and flimsy. Very good value!

I actually bought this for my sister in law for her acrylic paint pouring, but she loves it. She said it’s really sturdy, spins well and nice and level. Highly recommend for pouring

I bought this to replace a smaller plastic turntable many years old. The top of that one slotted into the base so it had a bit of a lean and was difficult to work with when using larger cake boards. I wish I'd got one like this ages ago! Being heavy and in one piece it's very stable with a smooth rotation and I'm delighted with the quality and the price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I'm not a professional cake decorator but have been making many wedding and birthday cakes for friends and family for over thirty years.

A while ago I bought one of the plastic tables and oh my goodness was I disappointed - it went straight to the bin. It would put anyone off from wanting to decorate a cake. Reading the reviews on here, I decided to buy the 'hopefully' sturdy one. It was such a surprise, it came very well packed. It's heavy and sturdy, has a silicone cover at the bottom to stop it from moving. With the bearings, even a heavy layered cake turns smoothly and easy. I am very impressed and happy with my purchase! 👍 😁

Too be honest seems a bit strange to get too super excited over a cake table. Yes, strange I know. But I’m a retired chef of near 50 years. Food all my life as a job…. gone into retirement as a hobby. It’s a great bit of kit. Solid, smooth, no wobble. It works. See other reviews. I give it 5 stars as I have no complaint at all. Use mine for scouring sour dough bread. That said… it has a multiplicity of uses. Can see this giving great service for years. Buy once, buy right. Buy this!

Lots of deliberation over a new turntable. After reading the reviews, I opted for this one, so glad I did! Perfect for the job! Great quality, heavy and smooth turning. I will never go back to my old plastic turntable. Don’t hesitate, this is a great purchase!
