Great tool and gets laughs
We used this to grab and put out candy on Halloween to help with social distancing/contamination concerns. Everyone loved it and it made a lot of people smile. The tiny hands remind people of a certain someone, too. I'm sure this will be great for reaching things on shelves for me as well, as I'm a shortie. Effective for its purpose!

Bought twice, Broke Twice in the same spot
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My son loved this thing so much we bought it twice- once at a toy shop. It broke on the first couple of times of gentle play. We bought it again on Amazon to gift him a new one for Christmas. This product broke again at the same spot- the wire- after a few times of gentle play. My son is super disappointed and so are we!! Stay away!!

Treat as delicate

Others also mentioned it breaking; most likely the same spot: the cable, where it curves around the pulley where the stress is maximum. To reduce likelihood, pick up only light items and certainly do not squeeze hard. Still, this is the best grabber overall especially concerning versatility (tried at least 3 other types/designs).

I got this a a gift/gag joke for my boss since she’s pregnant. She absolutely loves it and it works really well.

Humorous but does it's job perfectly!
I needed a shorter grabber to grab items I dropped on the car floor while sitting on the passenger front seat, seat belted while traveling--purse, reading material, snacks, etc. I thought of "gator" grabbers a local amusement park sold for little children but when I came across this grabber with "Funny Hands," I was sold especially since it's not too long like the grabbers I use indoors. Maybe I can use it on airplane trips when travel becomes safer--always a challenge to pick up dropped items in such narrow spacing between seats.

Good news Bad news
Especially great for getting stuff out if washer and dryer. It picks upfuzz on floor and coins. I just love this cute little attention getter. I am 84 and live at retirement center. Now the bad news. As i tried to pick up a shoe it “clicked loudly and very loudly gasped (me) and came apart. Can I get it repaired or replaced?

Breaks quickly with no effort
We received one as a gift- the internal wire snapped while my 3 year old was playing with it. We ordered a replacement- the wire snapped again within the week. When the wire snaps the hands no longer clasp and it doesn’t work and it’s garbage. Do not buy!!

Absolute junk
Ordered 2 of these. One broke on the day it was opened, the other broke the next morning. Extremely disappointed. Doesn’t even deserve the one star. Returned them.
