Great knifes, bad case, not sharp = good, heavy = safer
These knives are excellent for beginners and advanced knife throwers alike. The case is crap but that is not really my priority, the tips do chip but nothing that cuts or effects the thrower in any way. 150g makes for a heavy knife that is best for beginners and easier to stick. This product comes with a sharp point but completely dull sides making it great for a conventional half spin, full rotation, and no spin. Also, if you throw these into stone or plywood they will be damaged, but you should not be throwing at those things in the first place, pine aspen and softer end-grain targets are best. All in all, these are by far the best for the price and number of knives of course $500 custom made knives will be better but this is my go-to knife and a good quality excellent choice for everyone. Good job SW.

Absolutel; a joy to own and throw
Absolutely a pleasure to throw and has so far withstood ALL of my misses, flat hits, backward hits, and straight on sticks. Very worthwhile purchase. The set of 6 and the nylon sheath are EXTREMELY durable and have kept walking back and forth to the wood plank target I built. These are extremely well balanced dead center, are NOT sharp on the edges, and after well over 300 throws not one SINGLE problem with them. I built a really nice 6 plank soft pine target board out of scrap pine that is approx. 30 inches wide by 50 inches tall and this has allowed me to find my proper throwing distance, which then allowed me to work on stance and release posture. The first time I stuck 4 out of 6 in a row I knew I was going to love this sport and it only took me about 200-250 throws to do it. lol S&W has made a great set of knives with this set. I highly recommend them to anyone starting out.

Good Overall Quality
Pretty good knives! I love the weight and shape, but they are not as easy to stick in the target and not as accurate as my other set. They are not sharp, just a very fine point. Which I love because I don't have to be as caught with them. I have damaged 3 in the 2 sessions I used them. The tips dented on two and the edge curled on one. We think from hitting another knife or axe. We were able to file them into shape again though. Over all good knives!

Quite fun and effective
Is this for beginners? Oh yeah! First throw and perfection. Great weight, very durable. Excellent way to annoy the neighbor who thinks your fence line is the appropriate place to have loud phone calls (my camera security system recorded very loud echoing thuds & I heard the neighbor complain about me, maybe now they will talk inside their house and not where I can hear them in mine). Tried several throw techniques and the balance & weight is perfect for all of them. Bought as a quarantine anniversary gift and this is just perfect to get outside and release tension.

For the money you simply cannot buy better throwing knives. We own several sets and I highly recommend them.

Great Lil' Chuckers
I bought these and a set of the Gil Hibbens to learn with. If you're thinking about these two as well, see my review on the Gil Hibben page. I prefer these Bullseyes over the Hibbens, but are a couple of observations/caveats. 1) As other reviewers have noted, watch the sharp/unfinished edges of the handles. I had a couple issues where a sliver peeled-back after being hit by another knife. Stuck me the finger on the next throw. I'll probably end up grinding the edges of the handles down a bit. 2) Also as others have noted, these are not razor-sharp... but guess what... they don't HAVE to be! The Gil Hibbens ARE razor-sharp and I stick these just the same. The trick is a good target. No plywood, no OSB, no particle board, and no MDF. The blade has to sink in between the wood fibers. Do some vertical boards, get your hands on a live edge round, or build a target with end-grain 4x4's. Overall, great chuckers that I don't feel bad about beating up a bit. Looking forward to getting better with them!

Thrilled! Bought these for my son. I read the reviews from others to determine whether I bought these. The reviews were spot on. They are solid. The tips haven’t bent or chipped and my son and his friend who is a BIG guy have used them multiple times and they are still in excellent condition. Would highly recommend these!
