I give this 5 stars, trusting that the powder is indeed pure L-arginine. It does indeed taste fishy (mixed into water). I did some internet research and refreshed basic biochemistry of amino acids: of the 20 amino acids, arginine is among the positively charged and has an alkaline pH, and that's why it tastes fishy and "amine-like." The addition of acid to the arginine solution will neutralize the pH, at which point it will be mostly tasteless--thus the reviews that mention adding lemon, apple cider, etc. I did this with hibiscus tea, which is a natural pH indicator, like litmus paper. The tea is bright red at acid pH and tastes quite sour. As you add L-arginine powder, the color of the tea starts to turn purple (pH neutral; gets blue towards alkaline pH). It won't taste as sour (and no fishy arginine taste--unless you add a lot of arginine and pass the pH ~7). I do hope that the arginine powder taken this way still has its efficacy. I am taking it to both help lower blood pressure (vasodilation) and to help with brain (recent study showing L-arginine reduces amyloid aggregates and improves cognition in mice). I have already seen some decrease in BP, but it could be the hibiscus tea. Hibiscus tea has numerous health benefits, but I don't want to erode my teeth enamel, or neutralize the pH with baking soda, which will add sodium and increase BP. Aiya.

I just want to address some of the people who say that this tastes "disgusting"! I bought this because the brand I normally use was not available. I use L-Arginine with my chocolate flavored grass fed whey protein powder and creatine. I blend it all with either whole milk or water. This L-Arginine cannot even be detected where actually my other L-Arginine brand does have a very slight, noticeable chemical taste but nothing "horrible" or "nasty"! You have to mix this in a protein drink and not just stir it in water! Even if you did that it still doesn't have that bad of a taste at all! And, believe me, I'm an expert when it comes to protein powders and supplements like this for many years as a weight lifter and fitness/exercise enthusiast! This is good stuff! I can't taste it at all! So, those people who said how disgusting it is, you must be hypersensitive or used to drinking kool-aid or something! I can also tell that my blood flow and energy level is optimal about a half hour after drinking it.

In 30 minutes you’ll get an erection. It’s a great sign to let you know when it’s kicking in. Doesn’t taste the best but that’s because it’s a fairly large dose compared to others. I’ve noticed a considerable difference in performance when working out. I’m lifting heavier and everyone notices the pump it gives definitely something you want to take before the gym. Do yourself a favor and buy powdered citric acid when you purchase this and mix it in a 3:1 ratio (arginine:citric acid). Add this to water, stir until clear, add citric acid, stir until clear, enjoy. This supplement is exactly what I was looking for when considering options for L-arginine. Powdered form, 5g/serving, includes scoop. Perfect. Until I tasted it by itself in water. Holy expired year old fishy latex, batman! Words alone cannot describe how horrid the taste was. Every night was a battle against my stomach to keep this stuff down. Nothing I tried could mask the taste UNTIL I read reviews pointing towards citric acid and holy sweet 8lbs 4oz baby Jesus did that change my entire outlook on this supplement. With the right amount of citric acid, this supplement is actually a joy to take. The acidity in the citric acid counters the alkaline in the arginine and makes it palatable. Don't try this without citric acid. -1 star because of taste, but that's easily fixed with a dash of citric acid. Everything else is perfect.

As many others have noted, this powder does not taste good--neither blended with water nor another beverage or flavored supplement. It has a strong, fishy taste and odor. It's very disgusting. I tried mixing it with just water, water and lots of lemon juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, and flavored protein powder. Nothing could remove the fishy odor and taste. I have taken numerous supplements over the years, and I have never encountered anything like this. Absolutely gross. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

The taste is very bad, it's like plastic, I don't know what, it doesn't go well with milk or anything. The first time I took it, I vomited. I found an easier way to not reduce the taste, but I forgot about its taste. I take one scoop with a spoon, shake it, and drink it immediately. Then I eat a prune right away. Or any fruit that suits me, plums worked for me. I felt that they washed my mouth of this horrible taste.

the title is veey clear, pure and no flavors, por el precio y cantidad es la mejor que hay en el mercado, el sabor es tipo medicina, pero si quieres capsulas y recibir 1 gramo por el mismo precio y 5 grms, o si quieres 2 o 3 gramos con edulcorantes es tu eleccion, para mi por mucho es la mejor (si es que trae lo que dice traer)
