I wore one the entire cruise as a just in case. Its lightweight and barely noticeable. One the one day the waters got choppy, I was the only one in our group of 15 that was not bothered by it. I bought these Sea-Band wristbands for my parents before our family cruise, and they ended up being a great choice. Both of them are prone to motion sickness, and I wanted a natural, drug-free option to help them enjoy the trip. They were a little skeptical at first, but after wearing them during the first day at sea, they noticed a real difference—less queasiness and more confidence to enjoy the activities on board.The bands are easy to put on and comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. The pressure point does feel a bit odd initially, but they got used to it quickly. The fact that these don’t have any side effects like drowsiness (unlike some medications) was a big plus for them.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they’re not a magic fix. On rougher days, the bands helped, but didn’t eliminate the nausea completely. I'm not convinced that this is all just a placebo effect, but I'll give the 4 stars anyway lol.

I get horrible motion sickness, to the point where it's difficult for me to ride in other people's cars or busses or trains without wanting to vomit. With Seabands, I am able to take public transit and be a passenger in other people's vehicles.

We were on a Caribbean cruise and my teenager daughter was starting to feel sea sick. I purchased these bands as well as sea sickness medication, just in case. I had her wear these bands because I didn't want to give her medicine that could make her drowsy unless I had to. She wore the bands the first day and said she didn't feel like they did anything. The second day, she didn't want to wear them, but didn't complain about being sea sick. Did they work? Did she just get used to being at sea? I don't know.
