Perfect seamless fit
This dosing funnel is solid stainless steel with good weight, not overly heavy, but of quality. It attaches to my portafilter basket perfectly, with a strong seal which prevents coffee grounds from spilling in between the basket and funnel and falling on the counter (making a mess). It also fits my 58mm baskets properly. The design is smooth without unnecessary crevices/creases, so it's easy to use and easy to clean. Great price, rather inexpensive for the quality. Definitely recommended!

Very High Quality, Perfect Fit for 51mm Portafilter
Heavy stainless steel, fits like a glove into our Delongi EC950 machine's portafilter basket. Very close tolerance with no slop, rattle or space in it's fitting. Drops into a small machined recess therefore it self-levels onto the basket. Like it was made for our machine. I bought another mfgrs 49mm tamper as recomended, as I read that the original product's 51mm tamper will not fit through the funnel. I usually just remove the funnel after adding coffee, then tamp with the larger 51mm tamper that came with our machine. Very high quality machined funnel!

Very nice piece
Solid tool. Has a very nice heft to it. Weighs just under 5oz. 137g. There will be no bend or flex to it. Smooth satin finish. It's pretty! I ordered a 58mm tool to fit my Rancilio Sylvia. The funnel fits perfectly in my double basket if the basket is OUT of the portafilter. When IN the portafilter, fit is a tad off, does not fit flush to/inside the filter. A second Rancilio basket fits just a tad different...with the funnel fitting perfect with the second basket in AND out of the portafilter. Both baskets from Rancilio. Point is, the fit of the funnel to two different same-brand baskets is not identical. While the fit to the slightly 'off' basket is not enough to make a difference in the function of the funnel, I think it's good to be aware that the machining/mfg differences between two baskets can make a difference in how this tool fits in your situation. Not a huge thing. Calipers show a .002" in edge-to-edge diameter difference between the two baskets, 2.754"/2.756". I did not measure the depth/radius of the bead on either basket; that could make a difference. The funnel I got is NOT at all magnetic. Yes, it is stated as being 'stainless'...but not all stainless IS non-magnetic. This funnel will make the use of a new WDT stirrer MUCH easier. I do use a doser-less Rocky grinder.

Stainless steel, well made
Well made, durable. Slightly big for my portafilter but not too bad. Gets the job done and keeps the grounds from spilling over.

Solid, sturdy, and does the job.
I have a BDB and a Eureka Specialita grinder and was previously using a biscuit cutter that was a little smaller than my portafilter. The dose would sometimes spill over the edges and a gap was left once it was removed, making using a distribution tool and tamping a bit more of a drag. This funnel fits the Breville Naked Portafilter very well (I am using the basket that came with the BDB), it is heavy enough to not get knocked off if I tap the grinder base while grinding, and is wide enough to catch everything that comes out. I can use a distribution tool with the funnel in place and removing it does not disturb the coffee so I get a good tamp. I single dose and don't mind holding the portafilter under the grinder for the 12 seconds my dose takes. My PF doesn't work with the Specialita's cradle, anyway. Very pleased with it. I had considered getting a funnel with magnets to ensure a tight fit, but I'm not missing that at all with this funnel.

Solid
Thought a magnetic dosing ring would be the best, but this proved me wrong. The ring is decently heavy and fits well. Those two features make this dosing ring very stable. I have not tried it directly on my Baratza Vario+ as I use a dosing cup to weigh the coffee so can say how it performs/fits. I use a WDT with this dosing ring with no ground spillage, no wiggling, no sliding off, and no falling off. This ring just works. Unless you have a really aggressive tap when preparing your portafilter, this ring will stay put.

Perfect fit for a 58mm filter
I never knew this was a thing, but I was watching a video and they had one and I immediately knew I needed one. I have the Calphalon TempIQ with grinder and have loved it for years, but it has a couple flaws. The biggest one is the grinder dispenser design and this completely fixes that. As you can see from my pictures several alterations were required, but when you have stainless steel that isn't a problem. Honestly this thing was surprisingly sturdy and it fits perfect on my basket without magnets and with the slice taken out of the side. Great product, and I was able to dispense the entire 19g of grinds without tamping down or spilling coffee everywhere. Pulled a fantastic shot first try after getting this and a new tamper (another flaw I dealt with for far too long).

Quality product, very solidly made. Fits the top of the basket well. Makes grinding a larger shot a breeze as it contains all the grounds. Makes tamping even easier as you just pop your tamper in and push down, no fuss, no mess, all your grounds contained perfectly in your filter basket. And it only takes a second to pop it on and a second to pop it off. My only frustration is when I forget to pop it on and start my grind without it, only to have overflowing grounds everywhere! This perfectly solves that problem. Recommended! You won’t be disappointed 😀

This little 51 mm coffee funnel is excellent for the price. First time buying/using so I have nothing to compare with, but this feels great, well machined, works great, weight feels great. I only have a cheap K-Mart Espresso coffee machine, but have been watching lots of YouTube videos about how to make the best coffee at home, machines ect (James Hoffmann eg) and have gotten interested in the little steps of the process that make a difference. SO! instead of jumping in and buying a quality/pro machine, I thought I'd spend a small amount of $ and get some tools that they use on the YouTube 'How To's'. Professional coffee machines seem to have 58 mm baskets, but I found out you can get 51 mm tools that will fit the basket of most home machines, i.e. the K-mart machine I have. And YES, this 51 mm funnel fits and works GREAT. SO! with a few tools as shown in the photo, I'm exploring the techniques of the steps that they suggest to follow in order to get the optimum Espresso extraction that tastes better. Are they GIMMICKS? I don't know, but the Funnel, Distributor, a SS Tamper (which by the way is nice and heavy and feels nice), mat, the funnel to minimise coffee spill as you fill the basket, a needle distributor, and a small spray water bottle did not cost much and it's a bit of fun trying out the steps. For me, I thought it was a reasonable step to take in order to learn a bit more before I took the decision / OR NOT, to upgrade and buy a quality espresso coffee machine. At the moment, the K-Mart espresso coffee machine cost me less than $100 and to my pallet makes pretty good coffee - YOU CAN SEE in the picture the nice Crema that it makes, and it tastes not bad - I just have it as a Long Black at home. However, it's probably chalk and cheese to the taste of a professional coffee, which I do get when I'm out, but I always buy a Flat White so can't really compare to my home made long black. Anyway, thought I'd share a review if anyone out there was wondering about getting started on the journey of learning to make better coffee at home and only had a 51 mm basket/machine. This selection of tools didn't cost that much, and they are all pretty good quality for me as a 'Newbie'. All the best, Mike

Works well. I like the fact that it is heavy so while doing WDT, it won’t move around. Also, once removed, it does not leave a mark on the espresso grinds because it does not protrude down on top of the espresso puck, it just sits over the portafilter. I like that. A bit pricey but overall satisfied with my purchase.
