This is a thoroughly modern design able to produce a very solid owner-constructed cart. The four vertical posts and the wire components are steel. There are eight cunning two-part plastic collars that snug up the connections at the corners, like circular wedges. The casters seem suspiciously lightweight but work well. A small wrench is included, and is just right for tightening the casters. One should spend some time leveling the bottom of the cart as the posts are being firmly inserted into the bottom tray. I used a plastic-faced hammer to get everything even. After that, the top and the casters go on with no trouble to produce a smooth-rolling cart. I am in awe of this cart's design. I expect it will give many years of good service. P.S. The "caps" that one review complained were too easily knocked off are actually packing spacers and should be discarded. Do pay attention to fitting the collars skinny-side up into the wide ends of the tubular post receivers.

Easy to assemble

Easy to put together. Good quality except the tabs that go on the top of the legs. They don't fit properly and fall off. Rolls around the room easily on wood floors and carpet. I just ordered a second one for my husbands den. Little pricey but works for me.

Very sturdy and attractive. Small enough to roll under chair opening of desk area when not in use. Great for clearing desktop and organizing files.

Just what I wanted. Fast ship. Lightweight. Fit into tiny house living. Wheels run smooth. Easy to put together. Very efficient and adorable sitting under my desk. I put a small wicker basket on the lower shelf to hold blank paper and staple gun. Met every need I had. Only critique is that the plugs on top did not stay snapped on but a little contact cement solved the problem. Perfect portable file cart in every way!

Great product and perfect size for under desk.

A bit pricy, but worth it. Very well made and strong. Rolls easily fully loaded. Double bar frame keeps your file folders stable. File folders slide easily on the frame. Assembly is required, have a pair of gloves handy.

I was looking for an under the desk organizer for my husband's home office. This product offered the perfect dimensions, which made it acceptable. While the product is not bad, the quality is somewhat lacking and it's good my husband only uses a few times a month. I don't think it would stand up to regular every day wear and tear in a high-volume office environment. The product does fit well under the desk and provides out of sight file management, which is excellent for our needs.

Es frágil. Además, como no lo especifica en ningún lugar las únicas carpetas colgantes que admite son tamaño LEGAL, de uso casi inexistente en España y cuyo coste de adquisición es muy elevado. Al final lo utilizo como carrito para mi tablero de ajedrez.

Kommt anscheinend aus dem US-Bereich, ist für Letter-Format, nicht für DIN-Hängeregister dimensioniert. Hab den Wagen aber behalten und in Handarbeit die Register so angeschnitten dass sie passen. Insgesamt schon stabil und einfach zusammenzubauen.

A useful small trolley for your most frequently used files. Others I looked at are much too big for a home office. To be clear, it works only with FOOLSCAP hanging dividers in the U.K. A4 dividers are too big. Easy to assemble, make sure the pairs of plastic sleeves locate in a grove in the vertical legs. Then, before you attach the castors, use a soft faced hammer (or a normal one with a block of wood to protect the finish) to tighten each joint by gently tapping the shelves down at each corner. Do a little first at each corner to get the thing square so that it sits on the floor without wobbling. Then attach the wheels. You’ll find it perfectly rigid enough for the intended purpose.
