A small container of this lasts me longer than 4 tubes of toothpaste and is better for my teeth and gums. And I really like the anise flavor and the cinnamon flavor is a close behind.

To be clear... my use of this product, and this review, focuses on limited circumstances. I have no intention of replacing my standard toothpaste with Eco-Dent, so will make no comparison between the two, or the possibility of using Eco-Dent on a daily basis. I chose Eco-Dent as one more step in my mission to comply with TSA and other global requirements to restrict the use of liquids and gels in carry-on luggage. When I travel light, with one carry-on bag, it would be ideal if did not need to bring on ANY liquids or gels. I must give some credit for this goal to Doug Dyment, and his excellent website OneBag.com.For example, I have replaced the need to carry shampoo and cream rinse by using a solid bar shampoo (which also doubles as a body soap). I have replaced liquid roll-on deodorant with a solid stick. There are, of course, liquids and gels that I cannot replace, but now toothpaste is not among them! Powdered Eco-Dent has filled that bill.How does it work? Actually, pretty well. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh (if a bit "salty"; the sodium bicarbonate), and I am perfectly happy using it. One less thing to go into the 3-1-1 bag! At home... I'll keep my regular toothpaste, thanks!

I really wasn't sure how this would taste, but once I tried it, I was very happy with my choice. I use the peppermint flavored toothpowder all the time. But I prefer this one. I really like the anise flavor. It is different, but in a good way. Hope it never changes!

I haven't used any kind of toothpaste to brush my teeth in years-- I just use water and I've never had a dentist notice the difference. I missed my usual bi-annual dentist appointment this year so I figured I'd tide over with a change in routine. I really like this stuff. The anise taste is nice, you just need a teensy amount of powder on the toothbrush, and the bottle doesn't take up much counter space. The aftertaste is kinda licorice/baking powder and I like that it's not strong or distracting. Usually I hate foamy things in my mouth, but the weird fizzy sensation distracted me enough that I didn't care. Once the fizz started to wear off, I noticed that the product felt very gentle on my teeth and gums as I was brushing. My teeth feel SO CLEAN after using it! Between this and a set of dental picks I got on Amazon for a few bucks, I don't miss the dentist. The spaces between my teeth even feel cleaner. I plan to use this once or twice a week to prevent tartar buildup. I'm also really happy about the variety of flavors in case I want to switch it up in the future. 5/5 for this nice [body safe] product.

Very good taste of cinnamon and my teeth feel very clean

This flavor tastes a lot like licorice, so be ready for that. Otherwise it’s nice! Easy to sprinkle a bit onto tour brush and have at it. Gonna be super convenient for travel as normal paste can leak into bags and this can easily be thrown in a carry on or in your purse for every day

I love Eco-Dent tooth powder. I've used this and the cinnamon flavor and can't seem to decide which one I like better. I suppose it'd be this one if I had to choose as the cinnamon flavor is really intense at times. The tooth powder foams up rather well without drying out your mouth. The anise flavor is subtle and not overpowering. My teeth feel fantastic after a brushing and the freshness lasts. You don't need to use much which means this small bottle can last you quite a while. It's also great for traveling as it doesn't take up a lot of space and isn't affected by liquid restrictions. If you want to make the switch to an all-natural tooth powder, I would highly recommend the Eco-Dent brand.

This tooth powder is essential for anyone trying to avoid all those nasty chemicals. Economical and with a very pleasant taste, it leaves the mouth feeling fresh and clean.

My teeth were noticeably whiter after a week and you don't even have to use it every day. I just use it every other day to keep it topped up. The bottle lasts forever as you only need a tiny sprinkle of the powder on your toothpaste. Pleasant taste also.

This is so much better than ANY toothpaste I've ever used. Stains that only the dentist has been able to clear (coffee mainly) are gone - after just two days!The flavour's fine and it really feels fresh - I'm sticking with this for life!

I mix a little bit with my usual toothpaste and I like how it really leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean.I will buy it again.
