Palm oil is from a different tree the oil palm trees, primarily the African oil palm. **Q: so when baking do you use this for white sugar or brown sugar?** A: I use this for all my sugar needs. I love that I can use half of the called for amount and it's still as sweet and that it doesn't spike my blood sugar level. I use it in all my recipes, whether it calls for white or brown sugar.
