Is effective in stopping odor
Stops body odor effectively! ! Easy to apply. While it claims to be scentless, there is a slight odor after application. It dissipates rather quickly, but if sensitive to smells be aware.

My search is over!
I decided to switch to natural deodorant to avoid aluminum and have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying different types and brands. I also have a sensitivity to smells and, as it turns out, baking soda. Here is what I have discovered: Lume (Unscented). By far the best, it absolutely keeps me stink-free and does not leave stains on my shirt. It also seems to keep me dry even though it’s not technically an antiperspirant. The skin in my pits is smooth, there is no body odor to be found, and I’ve stopped ruining my shirts. My husband uses it, too, after he developed a rash from his Gillette brand deodorant. For awhile he was only using Lume on one pit, and the pit without almost killed me. I use the stick form and it goes on like a gel but rubs in quickly. There are other forms that can be used on any part of your body. The only negatives are the price (about $14 although I think the stick will last a very long time because you don’t have to use much), that it has to be purchased online, and there aren’t any scents I can tolerate. I can’t do earthy or flowery smells and hope Lume will start making a vanilla or citrus/fruity scent in the future. The unscented smells a little medicine-y, but similar to unscented lotion, and only if I intentionally sniff it. I also wish they made a deodorant shampoo because I swear my hair stinks after the gym and would like to prevent that, as I don’t have time to wash and style my hair after working out. I hope Lume stays in business because this is my forever deodorant. When my son hits full-blown puberty, I’ll switch him to this deodorant, and have him use it on his feet, too. I'm not sure how this is considered a “natural” deodorant since I can't pronounce many of the ingredients, but it doesn’t contain the ingredients that cause allergic reactions or the toxic aluminum that I'm trying to avoid. Schmidt’s (Bergamot Lime). The best scent ever, which is why I let my pre-teen use it still. I want to keep a supply of this around just to inhale it. This is also one of the cheapest options ($5) and available at box stores. You have to warm the deodorant in your pits to apply it. However, this gave me a huge rash and was only minimally effective. Nubian Heritage (Coconut Papaya). I used this deodorant and Schmidt’s the longest before I found Lume. The scent is mellow and sweet, and the deodorant goes on clear and smooth. It worked decently well, but not reliably. I still smelled bad by the end of the day and after many months of use, my pits were starting to get inflamed. I originally bought this for around $5-8 at Walmart and again on Amazon. Native (Coconut Vanilla). The scent is light and sweet, and the deodorant goes on smoothly, but the rash was unbearable. It is also a creamy deodorant and left residue in my shirts. One day when using Native I was picking my son up from school and raised my arm and the smell almost killed me. This is not effective and certainly not worth a red, itchy, angry rash that caused my armpit skin to fall off in chunks and feel like leather. I am amazed that Native is now available at box stores and that they get $12 for the stuff. It is murder on my pits. Stinkbug Naturals (Vanilla Mint). This was another one that was relatively cheap (like $8) from Walmart. It smelled like mint chocolate chip ice cream which clashed with my lemon body lotion. I can’t say how well it worked because it went on like a greasy paste that I had to scrub off with a gallon of soap and a washcloth, and I decided that was not worth it. I was like melting a bacon-grease candle in my pits. Arm & Hammer Essentials (Unscented). This is the cheapest of them all (I think I paid $2.50) and available at box stores. It goes on clear and while unscented, it still has an almost citrusy, soapy smell. It contains baking soda so I expected a rash, though I can’t say this caused one. However, it was only somewhat effective. Jason (Calming Lavender). This is another inexpensive option (about $5-7) available at box stores. Lavender is one of the few flowery scents I can tolerate, but I felt like this scent made me smell a little too much like new age hippie. It goes on clear and doesn’t stain clothing but is only slightly more effective than using nothing. Tom’s (Fresh Apricot). I bought this at the store for about $5 to use after showering at the gym basically in place of perfume because I’m too cheap to buy more Lume for on-the-go (that will soon change.) It goes on clear and the scent is pleasing but with a light, soapy after-smell. Like the Jason brand, this deodorant does almost nothing. This deodorant also caused my pits to glow pink-red after each use. It doesn’t contain baking soda, but it’s possible that I react to corn starch the same way. I think anything used as a desiccant will overly dry out and irritate my skin. Primal Pit Paste (Orange Cream). I was so excited to try this because orange cream! However, the scent is barely perceptible. It basically smells like wax. This is available online for about $10. I used the tube version and the deodorant was extremely thick. Like a chunky grease that you have to hold in your pits for an hour to soften and then it is a bit crumbly and takes some of the skin off when you rub it on. And the rash...evil, evil rash.

Works well
Lume has a pleasant smell that is not overpowering. It is very effective for controlling odor in places more than just under arms. It does last up to 72 hours for me. It is not anti perspiration so you will still be sweating just not stinky. But it is aluminum free which is fantastic. The only real downside for me is that it gets messy. It’s a cream and the dispenser gets icky. Very difficult to keep it neat.

Most effective deodorant I’ve ever used
I used this deodorant for a couple of days before I wrote this review. I noticed a lot of people commented on the smell being horrible so I went with the odorless invisible cream because I’m sensitive to smelly deodorant s and perfumes. I have to say the odorless stinks pretty bad initially. Like sour wet clothes. However, within a minute of putting it on it is orderless. I think when it dries the smells goes away. You also can’t lay the container down on its side because it leaks out of the holes and makes a mess inside the cap. The smells goes away and leak is why I gave it a 4 star . Now for the plus! Most effective deodorant I have ever used! I mean the absolute best! I workout a lot kickboxing, cardio dance, strength training and walking. I sweat a lot and it smells! However, since I’ve been using this I still sweat but my arm pits are dry and zero odor. I also tried it on by panty line and it works great there too. I definitely would recommend and would advise you to use even if smelly initially because it does go away. I think I will try the solid so that I can use it for travel since the cream will not be good for travel.

Finally. No more underarm rashes AND I don’t have to smell like whatever a “Dragon Blast” is
I have spent years in a constant battle with my own skin and body odor. For the longest time, I completely gave up on women’s deodorants because they just didn’t work for me. I ended up switching to men’s brands just to get some level of protection, but even then, I found myself reapplying 2 or 3 times throughout the day just to feel "okay." To make matters worse, my skin is incredibly sensitive. Regular deodorants (especially the scented, chemical-heavy ones) left me with constant redness, itching, and even skin peeling. There was no option that covered both issues. I’ve always been skeptical of “clean” deodorants because I’ve heard they don’t work. I was fed up and finally decided to give it a shot. Enter Lume I’ll be honest: when you first smell the unscented cream, it has a bit of a weird scent right out of the tube. However, don't let that scare you off! That initial smell completely disappears within a minute once it’s applied. I’ve tried both the solid and the cream, and in my experience, the cream works significantly better. It feels like it actually treats the skin rather than just sitting on top of it. I also started using the Lume Body Wash in the shower around the same time so that might have helped with my success.

Works Okay, But Doesn’t Last 72 Hours as Promised
I’ve been using the Lume Whole Body Deodorant for a while now, and while it’s a decent product, I’m not completely sold on the 72-hour odor control claim. Pros: Aluminum-Free and Skin Safe: I appreciate that Lume is free of aluminum and baking soda, which are often irritating to sensitive skin. It’s gentle and doesn’t cause any discomfort, which is a big plus for me, especially with long-term use. Non-Greasy and Invisible: The cream stick goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It dries quickly and is truly invisible, which is great for wearing with dark clothing without worrying about white marks or stains. Good for Full Body Use: Lume can be used on multiple areas of the body, not just underarms. I cant speak about other areas of the body as I only used it on my armpits. But some might find that as a good benefit. Cons: Doesn’t Last 72 Hours: While the deodorant does a decent job at controlling odor, I haven’t found that it lasts the full 72 hours as advertised. By the end of the day (especially after physical activity), I definitely notice some odor or stickiness. I still find myself applying it every 24 hr, so the 72-hour claim isn’t fully accurate for me. Not as Strong for Intense Odor: If you're someone who sweats a lot or has high body odor, this may not be powerful enough for all-day protection, especially in hot or active situations. I’ve noticed I need to reapply if I'm having a particularly active day. Overall Thoughts: The Lume Whole Body Deodorant works decently, and I like the skin-friendly ingredients and versatile use, but it doesn’t live up to the 72-hour odor control claim. It’s a good option for daily use, but if you need something with a longer-lasting effect or if you're active all day, you might want to consider other options. I still use it, but I manage my expectations and reapply as needed.

Sour Milk
If you can get over the smell of sour milk then you will be happy because this works. Sour milk vs onions.... you pick. I've been struggling to find an aluminum free deoderant that works for me. They usually work for the first week or so, and then bam... my body starts to reject it, and I stink up everthing. So far this is working. My husband said it's terrible smelling, but once it's on the sour stench dissipates.

Very good deodorant but didn’t last 72hrs.
Love the smell and it lasts all day. Since it’s deodorant only and not anti-perspirant, it won’t keep you dry if you sweat a lot. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it does not last 72 hours on me, but maybe it does on other people. It needs to be applied daily.
