I really like this NOW Foods Sweet Almond Oil. It's 100% pure and feels light on the skin—it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling. At first, I was looking for a massage oil that is natural with health benefits and easy on the skin, but I got a lot more out of this Sweet Almond Oil from NOW Foods. After using it everyday for about 3 weeks, I can vouch for the positive reviews you've seen about this product. Here is a list of things I wish I knew before purchasing this product: QUALITY This oil is FOOD GRADE and all natural! The consistency is similar to that of extra virgin olive oil. It is very easy to apply and the bottle is also of good quality with UV protection. You do not need to use much at all, just 3-4 drops will give you good amount of oil to apply without giving you a greasy feeling as long as you don't use too much of it. This oil will last you for quite sometime, maybe 2-3 times compare to the lotion alternative. BENEFITS There is a lot of health benefit from almond oil to your skin such as vitamin E, as well as magnesium and calcium. Almond oil is also very good for your hair and will enhance your scalp as it moisturizes the hair as well. Price wise, it is quite affordable compared to that of lotions. Although not a professional massage therapist, I use this oil for massage every time. My wife and I love massage, so we massage each other every day specially from knee down. During winter, my wife's heels usually gets very dry and sometime her skin cracked. However, after massaging her feet every day for about 1 week with this oil, her heels and overall skin on her feet became more resilient and I no longer observe any skin crack. After further research, I found out that this type of oil absorbs easily to your skin and moisture it naturally longer than other types of remedy. We also use Biotone and BonVital lotions which specially for the upper body, but this Almond Oil seems to heal the skin better than them. I also use it as a moisturizer for my torso and neck after shower and it locks the moisture the whole day, which is quite impressive. I also tried it on my face lightly for a few days and I haven't had any breakout whatsoever, which is great! Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and will definitely but this again if I'm out (which maybe months ahead). I’ve been looking for a lightweight oil that doesn't weigh my hair down, and this is it. Because it's 100% organic and pure, it feels incredibly clean. I use a few drops on my damp ends to lock in moisture, and it makes my hair so soft and shiny once it dries. It’s also been great for my scalp I do a quick massage before wash day to help with dryness, and it rinses out easily. If you have fine or medium-textured hair and struggle with frizz, this oil is a must-have.

I purchased Aloe Skin Gel for eczema along with Sweet Almond Oil and a couple other items in the hopes that at least one of them would help clear up my skin. The almond oil (made by Now Solutions) seems to be working the best for me - it's sold on Amazon and comes in a 16-ounce bottle. I use the almond oil on my hands, arms, shoulders, thighs, legs and feet twice a day. It absorbs quickly because it's a light oil and not greasy. I also purchased "Babytime by Episencial Soothing Cream - Organic Eczema and Itchy Skin" (also sold on Amazon) but this product, designed for sensitive baby's skin, seems to have fallen into 3rd place for daily use application - and it costs $11 for a small tube, which won't last long when using it for nearly full body coverage. (Aloe Vera gel is now my number two product). The Now Solutions sweet almond oil is also reviewed on Amazon and a couple people said a 16-ounce bottle is a large amount of product, but if you have widespread skin issues, you'll be glad you purchased the sweet almond oil in a 16-ounce size. The Aloe life Skin Gel (in an 8 ounce bottle) should last about a month if used liberally twice a day as I've described my use of it above. If you have Eczema, you can save yourself a lot of time by checking out the items I've mentioned, which I purchased to use instead of cortisone cream (expediently prescribed by a dermatologist - what a racket). I also tried Eucerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Creme (14 Ounce Tube) and used this religiously for more than two years, every day. Also Cerave (the body cream and the body lotion). Although both Eucerin and Cerave are dermatologist recommended products, I found that these two products (Cerave and Eucerin) work better after my skin is clear, rather than to clear it up after or during an outbreak. My skin gets really dry in the winter, so I've done a lot of research (really a lot) on how to deal with it. Some additional suggestions include: showering every two days, instead of daily. Wear cotton instead of synthetic fabrics or wool. Don't wash your hands with Dial soap or with any soap with fragrance added. Use Basis soap instead (available on amazon in a six pack). Buy a shampoo that's formulated for sensitive skin (I purchased Sweet Baby Shampoo, 16 oz., Sulfate Free, No Parabens, Phthalates, Dyes, etc.). It smells like coconut which I like. Use a vaporizer in every room in your house, especially in your bedroom. (And good luck finding one you like - none of the vaporizers on amazon are highly rated). Whatever you do, don't fall into the trap of relying upon cortisone cream. That won't solve the problem and you can't use it daily for full body coverage. Actually I've heard that Cortisone creams can make your skin thinner. My current favorite solution is the sweet almond oil. "Babytime by Episencial Soothing Cream - Organic Eczema and Itchy Skin" is worth trying too, but it may or may not work on your skin. Or, if it does work, it might only work on certain parts of your body but not others. Some people an amazon have also tried sea salt baths, but I would only dip into a salt bath with caution - as it could potentially make your skin problems worse if you're sensitive to salt water (as I am). If you read the Dead Sea Salts reviews on amazon, just keep in mind that a high percentage of the people who posted reviews were given free samples of the produce in exchange for "an honest review" but I've rarely seen products on amazon reviewed in such large numbers in exchange for free samples. I hope all of this helps; even if it helps one person, it will be worth the time I took to write this review!

I use it on legs and arms instead of lotion. No tacky feel. Nice consistency. Simple and natural ingredients. Good skin compatibility.absorbs well and non-greasy after rubbed in. I’d buy again.

This oil is terrific on my skin.. TERRIFIC❣️ First of all, I’ve gotta say how very cost-effective this oil is! The price is incredibly reasonable👌unlike many other beauty products! And it’s SUCH a good product❣️❤️👌 I use it on my face and on my body and I find it sinks beautifully into the skin after about 10 minutes, so you don’t look overly shiny, but your skin does LOOK and FEEL replenished👌 I very specifically bought “NOW” Almond Oil because I have very sensitive skin and because my skin is very fine and I do find that this moisturiser absorbs very well into the skin.. Indeed, I have a tendency to have dry skin on my legs and arms - as I am a bit older now - and this really gets rid of that ‘dry skin look’ in no time at all! I use it mornings AND nights and bought it because it was UNscented so that I can add a little bit of Rose Otto essential oil for the day time, and for the evenings I have added lavender to it, so that relaxes me while I’m sleeping. I honestly can’t imagine buying any other oil after ”NOW” Almond Oil because it’s exceptionally reasonably priced, it does a perfect job and I can add my oils to it, if I wish.. My recommendation is look no further!!.. here was a perfect oil
