Easy to use and reasonably priced
I bought this charger to handle my riding lawn mower battery. I store the battery inside each fall. This year the battery didn’t start the mower. Put it on the charger overnight and the battery works like new. Easy on the pocket and it does the job.

FANTASTIC charger on a budget!
This charger is fantastic, it just works. Just plug it in, choose your mode and let it charge. 8a is a pretty good rate - the lower the better but of course the longer it will take. This charger is powerful enough that if you start charging a dead battery in the afternoon it will be fully charged when you wake up in the morning, and could probably start your car after a couple of hours.Yes this is not a fast charger but for the money I think its a great deal. It also lowers the charging rate as the battery gets closer to a full charge and I believe you could use this as a battery maintenance charger if you wanted to.Last thing is that it has pulse repair which is designed to break down the fouling on a dead battery - I havent tried this function yet but its not super complicated and I'm sure it would work about as good as any.Good deal in my opinion, 5/5. Simple & effective.

OK for what it is
The unit will create sizeable spark when connecting the leads to the battery. This is with the 110 cable still unplugged. You will be greeted with large alarm sound as well. Apparently the designers thought the current to activate the alarm was worth the sparks. The Product description states "spark free system"- yet nowhere in the manual or box is this stated. So there's that.I was initially having issues changing modes using the fingerprint icon button. I finally discovered there was a clear anti static/protective cover over the display. Once I removed that, it operates fine. Just in case anyone else missed this - ahem.I just noticed there is a newer version of this item available for another 5 dollars. Would have been nice to know that sooner. It appears to be mostly similar with faster charging claims- yet no statement on increased amperage. So they changed the charging algorithm? Don't care. This unit if fine. Mostly. lets move on shall we?I first put it on a newly installed tractor battery that had been charged by my mower for 2 hours. The little red charging wonder immediately went to work. After 2 minutes, it turned itself off and and stated as much with "OFF" in the digital window. Cool.Next I noticed something annoying to only Americans- All temperature units are in Celsius. Forever. If that bother you, here is the formula. Memorize it. There will be a test later. (0°C × 9/5) + 32 = 32°FNext up, I placed on a car that gets driven once a week. Today's vehicles have huge parasitic draws. I know this because I am a retired automotive Electrical Engineer. Target sit time is 30 days with a new battery. That's the requirement. However, once all the defective software is loaded into the 28 modules splattered about the car, reality sets in, and the usual sit time is around 14 days. The little charger went to work again, happily informing me in Celsius of its monitored temperature, battery voltage and how many amps it was letting into my abused battery that constantly being attacked by 28 evil modules. Remember- the battery has many enemies. We lived by that statement in Engineering. So after 15 hours, it brought the battery up to 14.3 volts- and its still just idling there happily. I assume some day it will top out, but I'm calling it good for now. As for construction. Ahem. The "clamps" for placing on the battery are- quite possibly the cheapest looking things I have seen this side of a Barbie play house. Not the old Barbie stuff. The new ones. And That may be a disservice to Barbie. Sorry. I suspect the clamps will last long enough to get it past the return window- but I have my doubts. So does Barbie. The power cord is embarrassingly short. This one will never make it into the movies. For sure. If you plan on keeping this, You will need a 10 ft cord or so to just keep with this thing. I hat using a 100 ft cord when all I need is a few feet. To be fair, the cord length is given in the product description and is correct.I have not tested the other capabilities of repair and AGM battery use- but neither of the ose features interest me at the moment. I am bored with it and typing this so here it is-..The unit is worth 25 bucks. Buy it. It replaced a 30 yr old shumaker 2 amp unit I had. This new one with shut itself off, vary charging rate starting at 8 amps, and compensate all for ambient temperature to prevent issues. I can replace the clamps when they go bad. I kept the old ones. <Barbie nods in agreement>

Great Charger
I have used this on car batteries and 3 eight volt cart batteries in series @ 24 volts. Works like a charm.

Easy to connect!!
I recently acquired the Car Battery Charger, and I must say it has been a game-changer. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, allowing me to set it up without any hassle. The user interface is incredibly intuitive, with well-designed visuals that make it a breeze to select the desired charging options. Even for someone like me who is not particularly tech-savvy, operating this charger was a breeze. What impressed me the most about this product is its ability to eliminate the fear of overcharging batteries. With previous chargers, I was always anxious about leaving the batteries connected for too long, but this charger takes care of that concern. It provides a steady and reliable charging process, automatically stopping when the batteries are fully charged. This feature not only ensures the longevity of my car batteries but also provides me with peace of mind. Overall, the Car Battery Charger has proven to be a top-notch product, combining user-friendliness, efficient performance, and safety in one sleek package. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a dependable and worry-free battery charging solution.

Just what I needed
I have a huge GMC Yukon Denali XL with very very low mileage on it, lately i have been driving short distances and the lack of driving and the fact it's 3 years old, it wouldn't starting and it was stuck in my garage. With that being said, after the 3rd time this happened, I got tired of pushing it out to jump start it. This charger was just what I needed. It charged my battery in less then 3 hours in regular mode, on repair mode, it may simply flash the battery meter and not show its charging state, but in my case, i can assure you that once it's done, it will turn itself off, it may take 12 to 24 hours in repair mode. Then put it back on regular charge and it should/will say Full with a reading of over 13.4v. Flash your headlights and it should read 12.6 to 12.8v. Perfect.. Every battery state will differ, so what some will read, will read different in someone's else's case. It's a great charger, no need for a separate voltage meter, when not plugged into the wall, it will show the current voltage state of your battery. Mine was about 10v, give or take. Below 12.1v and she wont start, at 12.1 it's clearly low, but she will start, at least in my case. To be safe, I put the charger on to get to 14.2 or higher, it can read 14.4v when fully charged at its final state.. At some point very soon I'll need a new battery since it can't sit more then 4 days before it goes back down, unless i drive it more often i may get another year, no garrentee..No instructions needed, its self explanatory. Have fun with it and good luck.

Cheap circuitry, misleading product description
In use for almost 2 months for a 24V system. It analyzes and charges well but when the batteries are charged it does not switch to trickle charge or charging unless unplugged from the batteries leaving the batteries dead. I shouldn't have to make a separate circuit to automatically disconnect/reconnect the charging leads to trigger a new charge or trickle charge
