It's not for everyday carry.
This is a nice cheap need to go across town bag or when you don't feel like taking the giant hardshell case everywhere alternative to take in addition to the big expensive case. It has a little bit of padding and some straps to tote around now and again. If you are looking for a case for your kid to take to school everyday for band practice this is not the case for you it will be shredded in short order. Even though it is reasonably well stitched, the liner is thin and easily ripped. It's an occasional gental use kind of thing, or throw your beater instrument in and hit a gig at a dive bar. It's a bit more than I would have preferred to pay for it but suites my purpose for it perfectly.

rugged and lightweight
happy with the build quality, lightweght but strong enough to handle going from gig to gig. if you've never owned a gig bag, remember it doesn't offer the same protection as a hard shell case but is much more portable and stores away easily by folding in half. has two pockets. one large enough for your cables and strap, the other can fit a headstock mounted tuner or pics three carrying options: handle, backpack straps and uh...smaller unpadded handle probaby good to hang the bag when not in use without the weight of the guitar

GREAT FOR JACKSON GUITARS
I have several guitars that did not come with cases, that's ok because I keep them out in my studio so they're easy to reach and use. My Jackson Soloist models push the 39" length limit of most cases. After looking at many cases I finally ordered one of these. I'm not looking for something to gig with but I needed something to protect my guitar in transit to my luthiers shop. I tested the case with my favorite Jackson, while there is a little extra length at the top the case zips shut and protects my guitar. I ordered three more so I can send multiple guitars for repair/setup work. Today I'm sending two Jacksons and a Fender Squire Jaguar bass using three of the cases. These protect the instruments a lot better than wrapping them in an old bedspread. My music storage room has A LOT of hardshell guitar cases in there, they must be kept in climate controlled atomoshere or the interiors rot. I'm loving these inexpensive gig bags for transporting my precious guitars. Good music to you

Meh!
If I had had a chance to look at this bag at a real store, not a virtual one, I would not have purchased it. There is nothing wrong with the bag for a beginner. However, if you have a serious instrument, I would not recommend it. I had a Road Runner bag that served me well for almost 10 years. This bag has nice waterproof materail and straps for various methods of carrying it bit what players are really looing for is protection. I have seen other reviews that say it has good padding, but in fact, it is pretty skimpy. The Road Runner bag had at least double the amout of padding and is much roomier. This Cahaya bag barley fit my Fender. The Road Runnder bags are moslty around or under $100.00 and are a world apart in quality and value. A small amount more to pay and you will be much happier. This bag will do for awhile but I am sure to be replacing it pretty quickly.

Great for larger bass bodies
I bought this for a bass guitar that didn't seem to fit properly in any of the other cases I purchased. This one offers ample space, cushioned support and it has an extra large pocket that holds all of my books and accessories. It also offers the backpack carrying option which is a major plus when your carrying around sound equipment. This was a great purchase for the reasonable price. I see no cons at this point.
