I ordered the 24” crate kit for my PomChi pup. I’m using the divider because it’s still too much space for her, and that’s working well. As soon as I put the cover down she knows it’s sleepy time.The crate itself is very good. Sturdy and easy to set up. The fleece bed fits perfectly on the bottom tray of the crate. That’s the only positive for the bed though. As others have mentioned, it’s not chew proof.. Fluff everywhere! and my dog wants to eat the fluff. I ended up ordering a different crate mat from the same company (Quiet Time Deluxe Pet Bed, shown in my photo). It’s SO much better and I recommend that one!I priced out all the items individually on Amazon (crate, cover, snap bowls, bed) and it was still cheaper to buy this kit, even with purchasing the additional crate pad- so it’s definitely good value.The cover is just a thin nylon type material with velcro closures, but it works fine for my needs. I don’t need a fancy cover.The snap bowls are very tight and I find them hard to remove from the holders (if you need to clean them, for example). I ended up removing the brackets and just using them as regular food bowls.

***2nd Updated Review: I received the replacement crate from Amazon. Unfortunately, the inside cut metal edge on the front door hinge area are sharp as well as the last one. At this point, I am going to keep the replacement and again, I have filed the edges with a metal file to smooth them and I will get black appliance repair paint to recoat the edges to keep them from corroding. Quality control issue going on here, but I like the crate starter kit. Just buyer beware and make sure if you choose to get this crate that you check those edges and file and repaint so your pup doesn't get cut as I did.***Updated Review: I contacted Midwest Customer Support. Customer Service Rep told me I should have taken photos of the sharp wires before we filed them. I told her I didn't think to do that. So, I told her that I would like a replacement, but she said since I didn't have photos for proof.......So, I interrupted and said since it was Amazon purchase, I would do an Amazon return, and replacement, but I wanted them to know so no puppy gets hurt because those wires should have been smoothed, powder coated and painted. But I am going to email her photos of the wires we filed, and the manufacturer date on the label in back so they can check their quality control and make sure that doesn't happen again. Meanwhile I ordered replacement from Amazon as I am in 30 day return period.***I am disappointed in this recent purchase of 24" iCrate starter kit; it could hurt your puppy. This is my second iCrate starter crate/kit. I started with a smaller 22 inch one in Nov. 2023 for my new 8 week old mini dachshund puppy and it was great. Perfect size to fit next to my bed, and having all the necessary accessories was a great value, and the crate was well made and safe for my puppy. But I ordered a larger 24" iCrate on Feb 8, 2024, because my puppy grew longer and I wanted her to have more room to stretch out. I set it up about a week ago. A few days ago, I cut myself reaching inside to reach my puppy one early one morning. Further investigation showed the cut wire edges on the inside of the smaller door are very sharp! Not good, because my puppy could also get hurt. Today, I felt all the cut wire ends on the inside of crate and the majority of them are very sharp! They was no nylon coating on them at all. Today, I had my husband take a metal file and smooth the edges, to protect my puppy, and me, until I can reach out to the manufacturer on Monday, as today is Sunday. Since he had to file those rough edges, the edges now are raw metal and I don't want it to corrode, I rechecked the first smaller crate we had used previously and it is not that way at all; all wired edges are smooth . So must have been a manufacturing quality control oversight. I believe they have a great product and I would not hesitate to order this crate again. Just want buyers to be aware and check for this problem as soon as you get it, so you or your pup aren't harmed. I am sure the manufacturer will take steps to ensure that does not happen again. I am hoping they replace this crate so I won't have to worry about those ends corroding. I will update this review when I talk to the manufacturer, so stay posted.***

My other black metal crate is 21 inches tall, I was SO happy to find this one at 19 inches tall because it is for my camper and just barely fits under the bed. The 21 inch one did not fit under the bed, but this one makes it. It would have been perfect if it were 18 inches tall. My yorkie sleeps in it and he is only 4 lbs. He has his bed, pad, food and water in it.

Liked, I would order again. Well thought out as far as collapsing unit. It had all the accessories: tray bed cushion as well as (2) bowls to mount I side for food & water. Has a handle for moving around and the cover is well constructed with velcro on the corners. Worth the $$
